Was Altoona’s Opening Day catcher on 4/5 at Akron...Hit safely in each of his first seven games (9-for-27, .333) and in 10 of his first 11 thru 4/20 (16-for-44, .364)…Produced a .300 average and eight RBI in 17 games during the month of April...Was placed on the 7-day injured list on 4/28 with a right shoulder injury...Began a rehab assignment with the FCL Pirates on 6/22...Also played three rehab games with Bradenton before being reinstated from the I.L. on 7/2...Collected his fourth career triple on 8/2 vs. Richmond (his first since 9/14/21)…Had an eight-game hitting streak from 8/2-14 (12-for-36, .333)…Returned to the injured list on 8/22 and missed remainder of the season...Made 37 starts behind the plate and three at first base while playing with Altoona.

Hit a combined .240 (46-for-192) with 10 doubles, five home runs and 27 RBI in 53 games between High-A Greensboro and Double-A Altoona…Threw out 12 of the 52 runners attempting to steal against him (23 percent) between Greensboro and Altoona…Began the season with Greensboro…Went deep in his second game on 4/8 at Hudson Valley…Went 10-for-24 with two doubles, a home run and five RBI during his six-game hitting streak from 4/8-15…Was placed on the seven-day injured list on 4/19 (retro to 4/18)…Was reinstated from the injured list on 4/25…Played in seven games before returning to the injured list a second time from 5/4-26…Was promoted to Altoona on 6/6, where he went hitless in three at-bats in his Curve debut against Richmond…Hit a game-tying, two-run home run in the ninth inning on 6/11 at Richmond before also going deep in his next game on 6/13…Reached base safely in 15 of his first 17 games with Altoona…Was placed on the injured list on 7/28 and missed the remainder of the season with a right shoulder injury.
