Began season in Low-A Jupiter before promotion to High-A Beloit on July 24...Led Marlins system in K/9 (14.5) among pitchers with at least 40.0 innings, striking out at least one batter per appearance on the year...Struck out a batter in 25 consecutive relief appearances from June 18-End of season...Struck out multiple batters in 13 straight appearances between July 20 and Sept. 3, holding a 2.70 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 20.0 innings pitched over that span.

Spent entire season with Batavia, posting a 6.08 ERA (47.1 IP/32 ER) with 16 walks and 48 strikeouts. Made seven starts in 14 appearances.
