Kevin split the 2025 campaign between Triple-A Iowa (102 games) and the Cubs (10 games) ... batted .266 (101-for-379) with 17 home runs and 69 RBI in 102 games with the I-Cubs in 2025...Hit .364 (4-for-11) with an RBI, a walk, two runs scored, a .417 OBP and a .780 OPS with Chicago...Concluded the 2025 season ranked by MLB Pipeline as the Cubs' No. 5 prospect...Spent the majority of the season with Iowa, prior to being recalled by the Cubs Sept. 1...Recorded a season high-tying five RBI twice, April 16 and May 17 vs. St. Paul...Notched his first of two multi-homer efforts this season May 21 at Columbus (also done July 30 vs. Indianapolis)...Tallied a season-high seven-game hitting streak from June 6-12. Kevin made his Major League debut on Sept. 25, 2024 in Philadelphia and recorded his first career hit that night with a single off Carlos Estevez...Recalled from Triple-A Iowa that same day...Appeared in three Major League games this season, hitting .100 (1-for-10) with one run scored...Was promoted to Triple-A Iowa on Aug. 6...In his first season with the I-Cubs, hit .292 (38-for-130) with five home runs, 22 RBI and a .848 OPS across 35 appearances...At the time of his call-up, his .292 batting average and a.848 OPS ranked fourth among Triple-A hitters this season...Across 76 games with Double-A Tennessee, he hit .272 (79-for-291) with nine homers and 39 RBI...Had an 11-game hitting streak with Tennessee from July 9-27, where he hit .390 (16-for-41) with 13 RBI and a 1.105 OPS...Prior to his promotion to Triple-A Iowa, Alcántara ranked second in doubles (13), third in home runs (9) and fourth in hits (79), runs scored (38) and walks (30) among Tennessee hitters...At the time of his Major League promotion, Alcántara was rated by MLB Pipeline as the No. 69 prospect and the Cubs' No. 6 prospect...He also entered the 2024 season as the No. 80 prospect, according to Baseball Prospectus.

Kevin played the majority of the 2023 season with High-A South Bend (95 games) but reached the Double-A level (five games) for the first time in his career at the conclusion of the campaign...Batted a combined .284 (111-for-391) with 26 doubles, three triples, 13 home runs, 71 RBI and a .810 OPS between the ACL Cubs, South Bend and Tennessee...Went 23-for-74 (.311) with four home runs and 18 RBI vs. left-handed pitching...Hit .250 (56-for-224) with 12 doubles, one triple, six home runs and 35 RBI in 53 games with South Bend from April 7-June 21...Batted .331 (54-for-163) with 14 doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 35 RBI in 47 games from June 22 to end of the season...Tallied a season-high five hits and six RBI during his first multi-homer effort of the season June 17 at Cedar Rapids...Recorded a 13-game hitting streak from June 22-July 8, batting .386 (17-for-44) during the run...Was on the injured list from Aug. 4-11 with a left knee strain...Following the Minor League season played in 21 games for Mesa in the Arizona Fall League and was named to the AFL Rising Stars game...Hit .256 (22-for-86) with seven doubles, one triple, five home runs and 23 RBI.

Finished among the league leaders in total bases (3rd, 193), extra-base hits (T-3rd, 40), hits (4th, 117), runs (6th, 76), home runs (T-6th, 15), OPS (7th, .811), slugging percentage (8th, .451) and average (9th, .273)... Batted .318 (21-for-66) with two home runs and 15 RBI vs. left-handed pitching, compared to .265 (96-for-362) with 13 home runs and 70 RBI vs. right-handed pitching... In June, hit .304 (28-for-92) with six doubles, one triple, six home runs, 23 RBI and a .958 OPS in 25 games... Tallied a 10-game hitting streak from June 4-15, batting .359 (14-for-39) with two doubles, one triple, three home runs and 11 RBI...
