Opened the season with High-A Asheville in the Astros organization...Was 6-1 with a 5.50 ERA (44 ER/72.0 IP) and 57 hits (9 HR), 48 totals runs, 43 walks, five hit batters, and 114 strikeouts in 19 games (10 starts) for the Tourists...Acquired by the Orioles from Houston as part of a three-team trade with the Tampa Bay Rays in which the Orioles also acquired RHP Seth Johnson from the Rays, the Astros acquired INF/OF Trey Mancini from the Orioles and RHP Jayden Murray from the Rays, and the Rays acquired outfielder José Siri from the Astros on 8/1/22...At the time of the trade, ranked third in the South Atlantic League in strikeouts...Joined High-A Aberdeen and made two starts for the IronBirds, allowing two runs in 5.0 innings with 10 strikeouts...
