Roberson High School in Asheville, N.C...Led the team to the North Carolina 4A state championship in 2017...Named MVP of the 2017 IMG Classic...Played baseball at Tulane (2019), State College of Florida (2020) and the University of North Carolina-Charlotte (2021)…His brother, Tim, is the Pirates Assistant Director of Hitting and his brother, Joel, is the White Sox assistant hitting coach...His grandfather, Jerry McKeithan, played seven years in the St. Louis organization and his great-uncle, Tim McKeithan, pitched three seasons with the Philadelphia Athletics in the American League (1932-34).

Spent entire season with Springfield (Cardinals’ AA), where he made 33 appearances (29 starts) behind the plate and 22 appearances (19 starts) as the DH... Hit his lone home run while going 3-for-4 in his first game on 4/7 at Arkansas...Hit .414 (12-for-29) in nine games during the month of April...Went 3-for-29 in May before rebounding to hit .294 (10-for-34) in June and .381 (8-for-21) in July.
