Spent majority of season on Blue Jays injured list recovering from right elbow UCL reconstruction surgery, and did not pitch in Majors...Beginning on July 14, made eight total starts on rehab assignment between FCL Blue Jays (one game), High-A Dunedin (one game), Double-A New Hampshire (one game) and Triple-A Buffalo (five games), before being optioned to Buffalo on Sept. 11...In seven total games with Buffalo, went 1-1 with a 2.97 ERA (33.1 IP - 11 ER) and 30 strikeouts and allowed three-or-fewer earned runs in all seven outings...Was claimed off waivers by Braves on Sept. 26, but did appear in a game in Atlanta organization before the season ended.
