Entered spring training as a Braves non-roster invite and spent the entire season with Triple-A Gwinnett, catching 56 games...threw out 17 of 46 (37 percent) of attempted basestealers.

Posted a career-high 54 RBI at Triple-A Louisville (Reds).

Entered the season rated by Baseball America as one of the Rockies' best 25 prospects... spent the year at Class AAA Colorado Springs...threw out 23-60 baserunners attempting to steal (38%)...on 9/11 was claimed off waivers by the Reds (not to report)... on 10/30 cleared waivers and was outrighted to Class AAA Louisville.
2006
After eight seasons in the minor leagues, Colina made his major league debut for Colorado in September, appearing in just two games...his contract was purchased from Double-A Tulsa on Sept. 10, taking the roster spot of Yorvit Torrealba, who was placed on the 60-day disabled list...Colina made his ML debut Sept. 18 vs. San Francisco, recording a pinch-hit RBI single on the first pitch he saw from Jonathan Sanchez in the fifth inning...only other game came in start behind the plate Sept. 24 vs. Atlanta, going 0-for-4 in that contest...prior to call-up, spent the entire season at Tulsa, batting .254 with 12 home runs and 46 RBI in 92 games as the Drillers' regular catcher for most of the year...established career highs in homers and runs scored (45), and fell one shy of matching career best in RBI...started 87 games as catcher and posted a .994 (4 e/667 tc) fielding percentage, the third-highest mark among Texas League backstops...threw out 34-of-86 (39.5%) attempted base stealers...recorded a season-high 9-game hitting streak July 14-26, during which he batted .378 (14-for-37)...hit game-winning solo home run in the bottom of the 16th inning in 9-8 win on Opening Day, April 6 vs. Wichita...homered and drove in season-high four RBI May 18 at Wichita...hit grand slam Aug. 12 at San Antonio to help lead the Drillers to a 5-3 victory...played for Caracas in Venezuelan Winter League.

Split season between Modesto and Tulsa...combined to hit .257 with 9 home runs and 38 RBI in 68 games...batted .265 (9-for-34) with 3 RBI in 9 games with Modesto...transferred to Tulsa on May 6 and hit .256 (53-for-207) in 59 games...hit .322 in May before average dipped to .244 in June and .207 in July...appeared in 42 games as catcher, 16 at first base and 1 as the DH...threw out 15-of-41 attempted basestealers (37%)...was placed on DL on July 23 after suffering an injury to his left ACL and was out for remainder of the season.

Was Visalia's everyday catcher in 2004, setting career highs in most categories...threw out 34-of-134 attempted basestealers (25%)...named Cal League Player of the Week, July 26-Aug.1, when he batted .609 (14-for-23) with 12 RBI...had two 5-hit games, July 4 at Stockton and July 31 vs. San Jose.

Led Asheville with 70 starts behind the plate, throwing out 31-of-96 basestealers (32%)...began the year at extended spring due to a broken left hamate bone and sprained right elbow.

Hit .213 (35-for-164) with 5 HR and 17 RBI in 47 games...recorded 11-game hitting streak from July 12-28, during which he batted .310 (13-for-42).
