Is married.....wife’s name is Alex... Graduated from Deer Creek (OK) High School... Attended the University of Arkansas, where he played three seasons.....was Second Team All-SEC as a sophomore in 2013.....earned All-Tournament honors as a senior at the 2014 NCAA Charlottesville Regional after he batted .615 (8-for-13) in four games... An avid video gamer, Anderson participated in the Pro vs. GI Joe initiative in 2019.....he played Fortnite and Captain Marvel against troops stationed overseas in honor of Armed Forces Day... Has two dogs, Yogi and Wrigley (both labs), and two cats, Tater and Pepper.

2022

Batted .222 with eight HR and 28 RBI in 98 games with Miami... Made 92 starts (42g at 3B, 35g in RF, 9g at DH, 6g in LF)... Had three stints on the injured list: 5/6-5/12 (COVID-19 related), 5/31-6/26 (lower back spasm) and 7/24-8/11 (left shoulder sprain)... Signed as a free agent with Milwaukee on 1/23/23.

2021

Brian Wade Anderson played in 67 games in 2021 and hit .249 with 7 home runs and 28 RBI...Missed 10 games with a left oblique strain from April 21-May 4. Missed 51 games with left shoulder subluxation from May 25-July 24. Missed the rest of the season after suffering the same shoulder injury in September...Four of his seven home runs in 2021 were go-ahead home runs; club was 7-0 when he homered. Batted .346 (18-for-52) with runners in scoring position with two home runs and 23 RBI.

2020

Brian Wade Anderson played in 59 games in 2020, hitting .255 with 11 home runs and 38 RBI. He was named a Rawlings Gold Glove finalist at third base at the conclusion of the season... Became the first player in Marlins Park history to hit three home runs in a game when he tied the Marlins club records with three home runs and seven RBIs in a game against Washington on Sept. 18. Homered off RHP Wil Crowe in the second inning, RHP James Bourque in the fifth inning and INF/OF Brock Holt in the sixth inning of a seven-inning game... He made his first MLB appearance at first base on Aug. 5 in Baltimore. He had previously only played first base professionally in four games in the Arizona Fall League in 2016 as a member of the Mesa Solar Sox... One of just five players, with RHP Pablo Lopez, INF Jesus Aguilar, RHP Brandon Kintzler and RHP Brad Boxberger, to spend the entire season on the active roster. 

2019

Brian Wade Anderson had 20 home runs and 66 RBI in 2019, both single-season career highs...He was placed on the Injured List on August 24 (fractured left fifth metacarpal, hit-by-pitch) for the remainder of the season...He had 33 extra-base hits in a span of 50 hits from June 15-August 15. He became just the third player in Club history to do so, joining Giancarlo Stanton, who did it multiple times during the 2017 season, with a high of 35 extra-base hits in one span, and Dan Uggla, who also had 33 from June 8-20, 2008. He led the NL in extra-base hits over that span. - Elias Sports Bureau...Miami went 14-5 in games where he homered; 25-17 in games with an RBI...The team had a 10-game winning streak when he homered from June 4 to July 29, which was tied for the third-longest such streak in Club history, behind a pair of 11-game streaks (Jeff Conine in 2004 and Justin Bour in 2017)...Hit first two career grand-slams (June 5 at Milwaukee and July 31 vs. Minnesota)...Had a career-long 18-game on-base streak from March 29-May 3 (.284, 19x67, 12 BB, .392 OBP)...Made first 27 starts at third without an error, the second-longest season-opening streak in Club history at the position (Placido Polanco, 28 in 2013)...He picked up two outfield assists on August 17 in Colorado, giving him nine in just 50 games in the outfield at the time (finished with 9 in 55 games). According to the Elias Sports Bureau, that was the fewest games needed to reach nine outfield assists in Club history, well ahead of the previous low of 60 games for Mark Kotsay in 1999.

2018

Finished first full Major League campaign batting .273 with 34 doubles, four triples, 11 home runs, and 65 RBI in 156 games played...Among Marlins' single-season rookie leaders, ranked second in walks (62), third in runs and OBP, fourth in doubles, tied for fifth in hits, and ninth in average...Opened season with a seven-game hitting streak, which was snapped on April 7 at Philadelphia. Marked third-longest streak by a rookie to start a season in Club history; Hanley Ramirez and Alejandro De Aza both recorded eight-game streaks to begin the 2006 and '07 seasons, respectively..Hit first career home run on April 2 vs. Boston, a second-inning, solo shot off Brian Johnson...Tied Club record for walks by a rookie in March/April (Derrek Lee, 1998); tied Mark Kotsay (1998) for second-most hits, one shy of record held by Hanley Ramirez (2006); third in RBI, behind Lee (21) and Josh Willingham (20 in 2006); and tied Lee for third in runs, behind Ramirez (20) and Kotsay (16)... Established professional highs in nearly every offensive category between Double-A Jacksonville, Triple-A New Orleans and Miami... Combined to hit .273 (140x513) with 28 doubles, four triples, 22 home runs and 89 RBI over 145 games...Led all Marlins' minor leaguers in home runs (22) and RBI (81), while ranking eighth in batting average (.275)... Began year with Double-A Jacksonville, appearing in 87 games, posting a .251 average (78x311) with 14 doubles, three triples, 14 home runs and 55 RBI...Went 3x5 with a season-high four RBI on June 2 vs. Pensacola...Added six three-RBI and seven two-RBI games while with Jumbo Shrimp...Had season-long nine-game hitting streak with Jacksonville, batting .344 (11x32) from June 18-30...Named Marlins Minor League Player of the Month for June after hitting .333 (28x84) with a double, two triples, five home runs, 12 RBI and 1.006 on-base plus slugging percentage in 26 games...
