The Australian-born left-hander made spent most of the season between AA Akron and AAA Buffalo before making 15 appearances at the big league level in July & September...Began the season at AA Akron, compiling an ERA of 2.13 over his first 14 games before being promoted to AAA Buffalo on May 14. Was with the Bisons for 7 appearances (0-1, 4.15ERA, 4.1IP, 9H, 2ER) before being sent back to AA Akron on June 10...Made 14 more appearances with Akron from June 10-July 17 (1.06ERA, 17.0IP, 11H, 2ER) before having his contract purchased by Cleveland on July 17 when Andrew Lorraine was designated for assignment. Cameron made his major league debut on July 20 vs. Kansas City, tossing a scoreless inning (1.0IP, 1H, 1BB)...With the appearance he became the 10th Australian-born player to appear on a major league roster and first Australian Cleveland Indian...Made 5 appearances with the Indians, going 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA (4.0IP, 6H, 1R/ER) before being optioned to AAA Buffalo on August 4 when Tom Martin came off the DL. Appeared in 8 games for the Bison after being sent to AAA and did not allow a run in 8 relief outings (3.2IP, 2H, 0R) before being recalled for a second and final time on September 1 when rosters expanded...Collected his first major league win in a 12-11, 13.0 inning win over Baltimore in Jacobs Field on September 3...Over his final 10 appearances after his Sept. 1 recall he was 1-0 with a 5.06 ERA (5.1IP, 5H, 3R/ER)...Only homer allowed in 15 appearances with Cleveland was a three run shot to Troy O'Leary in the day game in Boston on September 21 (9-8 loss). Combined over AA Akron and AAA Buffalo he was 1-1 with a 1.67 ERA and 5 saves in 43 outings (37.2IP, 33H, 7ER, 34SO), limiting minor league hitters to a .244 (33-135) average against with 3 homers...Left-handed minor league hitters hit .224 (15-67) off him w/2 homers...At the big league level, major league hitters hit .306 (11-36) with 1 homer allowed...Lefties hit .300 (6-20) with 1 homer and righties hit .313 (6-16) with 0 homers.
