Spent the entire season pitching for Double-A Richmond...went 5-3 with a 3.99 ERA, 114 strikeouts and a 1.23 WHIP in a career-high 112.2 innings. Named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week on Aug. 6 with Richmond...allowed just one hit while striking out nine across 5.0 shutout innings on Aug. 1 at Altoona to win the award. Finished with the eighth-best ERA (3.99), the fourth-best WHIP (1.23) and the fourth-best opposing batting average (.231) in the Eastern League. Posted a 1.96 ERA in six May games (three starts) with 14 strikeouts, a 1.09 WHIP and a .217 opposing batting average across 23.0 innings.

In seven games (four starts) with Single-A St. Lucie, went 4-0 with a 1.19 ERA (four ER, 30.1 IP), 27 strikeouts and a .209 BAA...Joined the Giants on Aug. 2, 2022 as part of the return in the trade that sent Darin Ruf to the Mets.
