In his finest minor-league season, went 12-3 with a 1.88 ERA in 37 games (14 starts) for Class-A Tampa and was named Florida State League "Pitcher of the Year"...led the league in ERA and ranked second in wins...for the second consecutive season, tied for second among all Yankees minor leaguers in wins...allowed just one home run in 119.2IP and none to right-handed hitters in 343 AB...opponents batted .218 (95-for-435, 1HR); LH .228 (21-for-92, 1HR), RH .216 (74-for-343, 0HR). 4 Began the season in the bullpen, and went 3-0 with a 2.53 ERA in 23 appearances before moving into the rotation on 6/23...did not allow an earned run in six June appearances (18.1IP)...made starts in each of his final 14 appearances of the season, going 9-3 with a 1.64 ERA (87.2IP, 16ER)...went at least 5.0 in each of his 14 starts...went 8-2 with a 1.49 ERA in his final 11 starts of the season (72.2IP, 12ER), tossing at least 6.0 innings in each appearance...fashioned his second career complete game and first shutout on 8/22 at Sarasota, tossing a three-hitter over 7.0IP.

Made 25 appearances (in a minor-league career-high 24 starts) for Class-A Charleston, posting a 10-4 record with a 3.75 ERA...led the team and ranked fourth among all Yankees minor leaguers with 110 strikeouts...was tied for second among all Yankees minor leaguers in wins and ranked eighth with his 3.75 ERA...held left-handed batters to a .206 (28-for-136) average...went 3-0 with a 2.20 ERA in six August starts...went 4-0 with a 2.42 ERA in his final eight starts of the season (from 7/28-9/4)-going at least 6.0 innings in seven of those eight contests.

In 18 starts for Single-A Battle Creek, posted a 5-8 record with a 5.44 ERA...went 4-4 with a 3.50 ERA (61.2IP, 24ER) in 11 starts at home but struggled on the road, going 1-4 with a 10.36 ERA (24.1IP, 28ER)...was transferred to Class-A Staten Island and made one start on 7/19 vs. Mahoning Valley before being placed on the disabled list from 7/20-through the end of the season with left elbow inflammation...had arthroscopic surgery performed on 8/19.

Combined to go 4-6 with a 3.98 ERA in 21 appearances (16 starts) for Class-A Staten Island and Class-A Battle Creek...began the season with Battle Creek, going 1-1 with a 6.43 ERA in seven appearances (two starts)...was transferred to Staten Island on 5/13 and concluded the season there, going 3-5 with a 3.56 ERA in 14 starts...ranked fourth in the NY Penn League with 81.0IP and fifth with his 14 starts...surrendered just 2HR in his 81.0 innings of work...allowed two earned runs or less in each of his first five starts, going 1-0 with a 1.86 ERA (29.0IP, 6ER)...struck out a minor-league career-high 12 batters in 8/19 win vs. Aberdeen, allowing 3H and 1ER in a career-high 8.0.
