Made Twins Opening Day roster for second-consecutive season...Had four different stints between the Twins and Triple-A St. Paul all season...Appeared in just two games for the Saints all season from May 12-15, pitching 2.1 scoreless innings...Struck out at least one batter in 13 of 15 appearances for the Twins and recorded multiple strikeouts in 10 of the 15...posted a 14.94 strikeouts-per-9.0 IP ratio...Allowed just two home runs with the Twins all season: Jackie Bradley Jr. on April 4 at Milwaukee and Willi Castro on May 7 at Detroit...Held right-handed batters to a .162 (6-for-37) batting average with Minnesota; left-handers hit .400 (10-for-25) off of him...Placed on 10-day Injured List on June 10 with a left back disc injury, ending his season...transferred to the 60-day Injured List on June 25.

2020

Made Twins Opening Day roster, the first of his career...first four appearances were scoreless July 24-Aug. 5, pitching 5.0 innings with one walk and seven strikeouts in that span... Recorded 30th career strikeout Aug. 1 vs. Cleveland...issued just his second career walk in that outing...it marked the most career strikeouts for a pitcher before his second career walk among pitchers to debut since the mound was moved to its current distance in 1893...Placed on 10-day Injured List on Aug. 13 with lower back inflammation; reinstated Sept. 7...Held left-handed hitters to a .154 (4-for-26) batting average...did not give up a hit to a lefty in first seven appearances (14 at-bats) July 24-Sept. 7...held right-handed batters to a .250 (7-for-28) batting average...Struck out at least one batter in 10 of 11 appearances and multiple batters in five of 11...Ranked second on club in strikeouts-per-walk (5.67), trailing Taylor Rogers (6.00)... Appeared in one game in AL Wild Card Series vs. Houston in Game 2 Sept. 30, allowing one run on one hit in 2.0 innings pitched.

2019

Started season with Double-A Pensacola....Made 19 appearances for the Blue Wahoos, going 2-3, 4.76 ERA (28.1 IP, 15 ER), five walks, 40 strikeouts and four saves...Promoted to Triple-A Rochester June 9...Made 12 appearances for the Red Wings, going 5-0, 1.61 ERA (22.1 IP, 4 ER), four walks, 31 strikeouts and a .193 opponent batting average from June 11-July 18. ...Had contract selected by Minnesota July 22 and had two different stints with the Twins....Made major league debut July 23 vs. New York-AL, pitching 2.0 scoreless innings...recorded first career strikeout, fanning Gio Urshela. ...Was the Opener in his first career major league start Sept. 28 at Kansas City, allowing one run on two hits in 2.0 innings pitched...Struck out 25 batters against only one walk in his 25.0 major league innings pitched...finished with 74 strikeouts and nine walks in 53.1 innings pitched at the minor league level...Appeared in two games in ALDS vs. New York-AL, allowing two runs on three hits in 1.2 innings pitched with two home runs allowed, one walk and no strikeouts...made Postseason debut in Game 1 on Oct. 4 at Yankee Stadium, allowing two runs on two hits in 1.0 inning pitched. ...Named relief pitcher on Twins MiLB.com organization All-Star team.
