Is married...wife’s name is Hannah...Graduated from Lexington (TN) High School...Graduated from Mississippi State University in December 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in clinical exercise physiology...Was named 2019 SEC Pitcher of the Year as he went 10-2 with a 1.93 ERA in 18 starts as a redshirt junior...recorded 176 strikeouts in just 107.0 innings as opponents batted .164...Earned 2019 All-SEC honors and was named a First Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball...In high school and college donated money for each strikeout to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn...Enjoys fishing, playing the guitar and painting.

2022

Entered the season as the ninth-best prospect in the organization according to Baseball America... Went 7-6 with a 4.46 ERA in 27 games (21 starts) at Triple-A Nashville... Held opponents to a .217 batting average with 114 strikeouts in 103.0 innings... His 114 strikeouts ranked ninth in the International League.....his 14 wild pitches led the league... Was named International League Pitcher of the Month for April after going 2-0 with a 0.77 ERA in five starts (23.1ip, 31k)... Was named International League Pitcher of the Week for 6/20-6/26 after his 2-1 win on 6/25 vs. Gwinnett.....allowed just one run on three hits over 7.0 innings (1bb, 10k, 1wp)... Appeared in two games with Milwaukee, both starts, posting a 7.11 ERA (6.1ip, 8h, 5r, 5er, 8bb, 7k, 1hr)... Made his Major League debut on 5/30 at Chicago-NL in the first game of a doubleheader and received no decision in the Brewers’ 7-6 win (2.2ip, 4h, 2r, 2er, 4bb, 4k).....his first career strikeout was Willson Contreras... Missed time last season while on the Minor League injured list from 7/15-8/27 with a left middle finger injury.
