2018

Spent most of the season in the minor leagues, where at Pensacola and Louisville he combined to finish 2-10, 4.17 in 6 starts and 32 relief apps...in his Major League debut made 5 relief apps during 3 stints with the Reds...spent 1 day with the Reds, on 5/29 at Ari, but did not pitch in the 5-2 loss...was promoted from Pensacola before that game, when RHP Tanner Rainey was optioned to Louisville, and returned to the Blue Wahoos the next day, when RHP Raisel Iglesias was reinstated from the 10-day disabled list...was on the roster from 8/3-8/7 and made 1 appearance, his Major League debut on 8/4/night at Wsh...joined the club for the final time on 9/11, after Pensacola's playoffs ended, and made 4 more apps for Cin...in the night game on 8/4 at Wsh, in his Major League debut threw hitless seventh and eighth innings...hit his first batter (Spencer Kieboom), on the next pitch induced Mark Reynolds to GIDP, then Wilmer Difo F9...threw a perfect eighth frame...in his third appearance, on 9/17 at Mil, recorded first career strikeout (Keon Broxton)...was 1 of 9 Reds to make Major League debuts (IF Alex Blandino, RHP Tanner Rainey, RHP Zack Weiss, IF/OF Rosell Herrera, IF/OF Brandon Dixon, OF Aristides Aquino, IF Blake Trahan, OF Gabriel Guerrero)...following the season made 1 relief appearance for Gigantes del Cibao in the Dominican Winter League (1ip, 1h, 3er, 1bb, 0k, 1hr, 1hbp).

In 25 starts at Class A Daytona and Class AA Pensacola combined to finish 8-9, 3.60 (137.1ip, 135h, 47bb, 111k, 11hr)...among Reds minor leaguers ranked seventh in ERA...began the season at Daytona...on 7/14 was promoted to Pensacola...on 11/20 was added to the 40-man roster.
