Spent entire season with Frisco...rated statistically as the top defensive catcher in the Texas League, compiling a .990 fielding percentage...threw out 21 of 59 (35.6%) attempted base stealers, 3rd-best in the TL...batted .260 (45-173) with 2 home runs and 23 RBI against right-handed pitching and .167 (15-90) versus lefties.

2010

Named Rangers Minor League Defender of the Year... combined to hit .278 (98-353) with 3 HR, 16 doubles, one triple, and 37 RBI in 100 games with Bakersfield (High-A) and Frisco (AA)...had a .354 SLG and .311 OBP...recorded 8 sacrifices and had 4 sac flies...combined to throw out 47 of 79 (51.9%) attempted base stealers...finished the year in the Arizona Fall League... named organization's Minor League Defender of the Month in April, his 2nd straight year to win a monthly defensive honor.

BAKERSFIELD: Opened the year with a return to High-A and batted .282 (70-248) with 2 homers, 13 doubles, and 31 RBI in 73 games...threw out 44 of 70 (62.9%) attempted base stealers in the California League, easily the highest percentage among all league-leader qualifying catchers in any full-season circuit in 2010...no other Cal League catcher had a success rate above 40.0% for the year...batted .295 (57-193) vs. right-handers, .236 (13-55) vs. lefties...had a .323 (41-127) average with runners on base...hit .237 in both April and June, but had a .319 figure in May and a .323 average in July before his promotion...had a 7-game hit streak to end his High-A stay, going 12-for-26 (.462) in that span to raise final average from .261 to .282...fell a homer shy of cycle on June 14 vs. Stockton, 4-for-4 with 2 doubles, a triple, and RBI.

FRISCO: Promoted on July 24 and batted .267 (28-105) with 3 doubles, a homer, and 6 RBI in 27 games for the RoughRiders... hit .267 against both right-handers and lefties...went consecutive games w/o a hit just twice, never more than 2 straight w/o a hit... posted a .996 (1 E/223 TC) fielding pct...caught 14 of 35 (40.0%) attempted base stealers...went 1-for-4 in Double-A debut on July 24 vs. Corpus Christi...hit first Double-A homer Aug. 21 at Tulsa... went 2-for-11 (.182) while starting 3 of club's 4 postseason games.

Spent the entire season with Bakersfield...named the organization's Minor League Defender of the Month in May...with a .991 fielding percentage, ranked statistically as the top defensive catcher in the California League...threw out 34-of-131 (26.0%) attempted base stealers, 6th-best in the league...recorded season highs in both hits and RBI, going 4-for-5 with 3 RBI on April 14 at San Jose...batted .352 (25-71) over 19 games from July 27 to August 25, raising season average from .217 to .247.

2008

Spent the entire season with Clinton (Low-A) in his first year in the States...starting catcher for West Division in the Midwest League All-Star Game...caught 39 of 144 (27.1%) attempted base stealers... made 79 starts at catcher and one at third base...batted .333 (18-54) with one home run and 8 RBI in April...collected a season- high 4 hits June 30 vs. Quad Cities.

2007

Spent the entire season with Quintana Roo (AAA) of the Mexican League...hit first professional home run in his first official at-bat (2nd game), April 1 vs. Tabasco...season-high 8-game hitting streak, May 23-June 6...batted .321 (18-56) in July and hit safely in 9 of his final 12 games...posted a .326 avg. (15-46) and 20 RBI with runners in scoring position.
