Jose Ignacio Rodriguez…nickname is “Tibu,” which is Spanish for shark and he has a tattoo of a shark on his left forearm…enjoys playing “Call of Duty” in his free time…pitched for Los Mochis in the Mexican Winter League (2022-23)…originally signed by the Dodgers as a Minor League free agent in 2019.

2025

Began the year with Double-A Tulsa for eight games (one start) before pitching 37 games (two starts) with Triple-A Oklahoma City…secured eight wins and four saves with Triple-A before ending the year on the Injured List...Delivered 27 scoreless outings for both teams combined…punched out four batters in a single game eight times, including three straight appearances from June 14-21 with the Comets... Produced a 14.0 strikeout-per-nine innings mark and .818 win percentage (9-2)…booked four of his wins over a five-game stretch from June 11-27.

2024

Began the season with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, tossing a 5-2 record with a save and a 5.19 ERA (20 ER/34.2 IP) in nine games (three starts) with 59 strikeouts against 13 walks... Promoted to Advanced-A Great Lakes on June 2, going 3-4 with a 2.25 ERA (14 ER/56.0 IP) and three saves and holding batters to a .187 average.

2023

Tossed a 3-1 record in 19 relief appearances with Rookie-level ACL Dodgers, going 3-1 with a 4.76 ERA (12 ER/22.2 IP) and 31 strikeouts against three walks...Promoted to Single-A Rancho Cucamonga for one game, throwing 2.0 innings and giving up two hits, two runs and one home run while striking out two.
