Hit .269 (119-for-443) with 25 doubles, one triple, nine home runs, 56 RBI, 55 walks and 23 stolen bases in his second full season with Arizona…set career highs in average, RBI and stolen bases...Ranked tied for fifth in the NL in stolen bases (also: Jake McCarthy)...His 17 consecutive stolen bases without a caught stealing from May 6-Aug. 17 tied the longest streak by a D-back to start a season (also: Tim Locastro; April 7-Sept. 29, 2019)…His .372 (16-for-43) average with runners in scoring position with two outs ranked seventh in the Majors...Collected eight three-hit performances, the most among all D-back players...Made 84 starts at third base, 26 at second and four at DH...Began the season on the 10-day injured list (strained right oblique)…Reinstated on May 5… reached base safely in 19 of his first 21 games (.383 OBP; 20 hits and 11 walks).

Made 37 starts at second base, 33 at shortstop, 27 in right field and 12 in left... Was one of four players to make 25 starts in at least three different positions, including one infield and one outfield spot, joining teammate Pavin Smith, Kris Bryant and Luis Arraez [source: Elias Sports Bureau]... Tied for fifth in the NL with 33 hits in May and tied for sixth with 13 extra-base hits... Career-best 11-game hitting streak (.429; 18-for-42) from April 29-May 12... Appeared in 17 games in his second season with the D-backs, hitting .180 (11-for-61) with 2 RBI and 9 runs scored...Made 8 starts at second base, 2 at shortstop and 1 in left field…did not commit an error in 32 total chances...Placed on the 10-day injured list with low-back inflammation on Sept. 22 and missed the remainder of the season.

2019

Played 41 games in his first Major League season with Arizona, hitting .217 with 7 doubles, 2 home runs and 16 RBI...Acquired on July 31 from the Astros...Played in 105 games between Triple-A Reno, Triple-A Round Rock (Astros) and Double-A Corpus Christi (Astros), hitting .332 AVG/.418 OBP/.606 SLG with 33 doubles, 23 homers, 83 RBI and 33 stolen bases...Named to MLB Pipeline’s Prospect Team of the Year (First Team) and Baseball America’s Minor League All-Star Second Team.
