In his first professional season, Marc pitched for the Gulf Coast Mets.
1992
Started 12 games for Kingsport (R) and held opponent batters to a .211 average against.
1993
Struckout 122 batters and recorded his first 2 professional saves for Capital City (A).
1994
Set a career high in wins (11) and strikeouts (153) for Rancho Cucamonga...the strikeouts ranked second in the California League, as did his 9.61 K's per nine innings ratio.
1995
Made his major league debut July 7 at Houston...allowed all 3 batters faced to reach base (1 h, 2 bb) which led to 2 runs in a 5-4 losing effort...pitched the following night against the Astros and struckout a pair in his final ML action of the year...opened the season in the closers role for Memphis (AA) but was inserted into the starting rotation May 5...led the Southern League by fanning 9.55 batters per 9.0 IP.
1996
Spent the entire season with Memphis (AA), exclusively pitching out of the bullpen for the first time in his career...converted an organizational-high 22 saves, fifth most in the Southern League...held opponent batters to the third lowest relief average in the SL (.192).
1997
Made 58 appearances between San Diego and Tripe-A Las Vegas...pitched with the Padres on three separate occasions, April 26-May 6, May 20-22 and Sept. 3-remainder of the season.
1998
Opened the season with San Diego but was traded to Cincinnati April 8...spent time on the disabled list with left shoulder tendinitis (May 7-June 11)...after coming back from the DL, designated for assignment June 17 by the Reds and outrighted to Triple-A Indianapolis.
1999
Pitched in 13 games, 5 starts, for Tacoma (AAA)...also saw time with the Mariners' Rookie club.
2000
Signed by Los Angeles March 27, Kroon pitched in only four games with Albuquerque before going on the disabled list May 17 with a partial tear in his right elbow...did not pitch the rest of the year....had reconstructive surgery on his elbow first, then a second surgery to reroute some nerves.

Made 46 combined appearances in 2003 after not pitching for all of 2001 and 2002 following a pair of right elbow surgeries...has averaged 9.3 strikeouts per nine innings as a minor leaguer... Signed by Anaheim on Jan. 30, Marc opened the year at AA-Arkansas...made his 2003 debut April 24 vs. Midland, exactly three years to the day of his last professional appearance, April 24, 2000 with Albuquerque...picked up the save in each of his first two outings...pitched in 37 games for Arkansas and was then promoted to Salt Lake at the end of July...posted a 3.86 ERA and 2 saves in nine Triple A appearances... Marc's 70-combined strikeouts were his most since 1995 (123).
