Mariot (pronounced: MAIR-ee-aht) spent the entire season with Lehigh Valley (AAA) and posted a 7-2 record in 45 relief appearances...Owned a 4.42 ERA (28 ER, 57.0 IP) and converted two of three save opportunities...Set a career high in wins (seven) and made the second-most appearances in a single season in his career (most: 47 with Omaha (AAA) in 2013 while in the Kansas City Royals' organization)...His seven wins tied for third-most on the team and his 45 appearances were third-most...Went 4-0 in 27 appearances at home, posting a 3.21 ERA and holding opposing bats to a .220 batting average.

2016

Made a career-high 25 appearances at the ML level for PHI...split the season between PHI, Clearwater (A), Reading (AA) and Lehigh Valley (AAA), appearing in 32 minor league games...Began the season on the 15-day DL (right ankle sprain)...Appeared in six rehab games between Clearwater and Reading...activated on 5/18 and optioned to Lehigh Valley (AAA)...Posted a 0.63 ERA (1 ER, 14.1 IP) in his final 13 appearances with Lehigh Valley...Recalled on 8/3 and made his PHI debut that same day...Mariot became the 1,999th player to appear in a game for the Phillies...Collected his 2nd career ML win on 8/18 vs. LAD and notched his first career ML save on 9/20 vs. CWS...Compiled a 3.43 ERA (8 ER, 21.0 IP) in 24 of his 25 ML games...allowed six earned runs in 0.2 IP in the other game...Averaged 9.5 SO/9.0 IP with the Phillies (23 SO in 21.2 IP).

Michael made his Major League debut on April 11 with 2.0 innings at Minnesota, and made 17 appearances over two stints with the Royals...Also appeared in 15 games with Omaha (AAA),but missed the final month of the season with a strained hamstring...Recalled to the Majors on August 26 and placed on the 60-day D.L...Earned his first Major League win on June 27, pitching a scoreless 1.1 innings vs. the Angels, an 8-6 KC triumph...Held opponents to a .220 batting average (9-for-41) with runners in scoring position in his 17 Major League appearances...With Omaha, averaged 11.25 strikeouts per 9.0 innings…Held opponents to a .222 average (14-for-63) at Werner Park, however they hit .294 against him on the road...Pitched in seven games for Gigantes de Cibao in the Dominican Winter League, posting a 3.00 ERA (2 ER in 6.0 IP) with no walks and seven strikeouts.
