Made his Major League debut on 9/13 vs. Tampa Bay, pinch-running for Bernie Williams in the sixth inning, remaining in the game in right field. ... Had his contract purchased from Triple-A Columbus on 9/6. ... In 130 games with Columbus, hit .291 with 12 home runs and a team-high 84 RBIs. ... Split the season between Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Columbus...for the season batted .303 (151-for-498) with 14 HR and 87 RBI in 132 games...began the season with Trenton and was promoted to Columbus on 6/5...hit safely in 13 of his first 15 games with the Clippers, including an 11-game hitting streak from 6/8-18...was placed on the disabled list from 7/10-20 with a bruised left wrist...set a career-high with 7RBI in 8/31, going 3-for-4 with a three-run home run and a grand slam...for Grand Canyon in the Arizona Fall League, batted .343 (35-for-102) with 5 HR and 26 RBI in 26 games...ranked second in the league in doubles (10), third in batting average, RBI and extra-base hits (19), and was fifth in hits (35).

Spent the entire season with Double-A Norwich, batting .238 (54-for-227) with 4 HR and 26 RBI in 64 games...made two trips to the disabled list, the first from 4/7-5/9 with a strained right quad...was also placed on the disabled list from 7/18-8/24 with a broken nose sustained in a collision on 7/18 at Trenton.

Had a break-out season with Single-A Tampa, batting .300 (137-for-457) while establishing career highs with 20HR and 87 RBI in 130 games...was named Florida State League Most Valuable Player and to the FSL All- Star Team...led the Florida State League in triples (10) and slugging percentage (.519), and ranked second in total bases (237)...was placed on the disabled list from 9/5 through the end of the season with a broken left wrist.
