Made his professional debut with Pulaski of the Appalachian League and went 2-3 with four saves and a 3.54 ERA in 16 relief appearances…tied for the third in the league in saves…struck out 29 batters in 28.0 innings and walked just four (1.29 per nine innings)…did not surrender a home run…allowed a .163 opponents batting average, which included .140 with a .322 OPS against left-handed hitters and .182 with a .533 OPS against right-handers…was 2-0 with a 1.20 ERA in nine games on the road, 0-3 with a 6.23 ERA in seven games at home…made his debut on June 26 at Princeton (1.2 ip, 2 so)…did not allow a run in six games (10.2 innings) in July as part of an 18.2-inning scoreless streak from July 5 to Aug. 17.
