Aaron Lewis is an Usher on 3rd base side and itās his first season with the Royals. Aaron brought energy, a fire and a passion to the usher position for the 2022 season that has flooded our offices with calls of praise from not only fans but fellow employees and front office staff. Aaron prides himself in getting every person in his section involved in the game whether that be a Happy Birthday chant, a rally cry and his famous 2 claps and a Ric Flair woooooooo. All of the energy he has brought to the stadium this year has led to season ticket members renewing their tickets, wanting to switch sections to be with Aaron, or even visiting fans asking to sit in the area to be with the Ric Flair Usher.
Bob Stamps Gameday Associate of the Year Award

Bob Stamps is currently in his 50th full season with the Royals. He has been a cornerstone of the Royals gameday experience since he started as an usher at Municipal Stadium in downtown Kansas City. Bob was promoted to Usher Supervisor in 1977 and has been a part of every postseason and All-Star Game at The K. The Royals have always prided themselves in being the best in guest relations, and Bob has consistently set the bar for his fellow event staff associates.
To honor Bob's commitment to the Royals and his passion for enhancing the gameday experience, we have named an award after him to be presented to one event staff associate each season. This award will be given to the associate who best emulates the four character traits Bob has shown throughout his tenure with the Royals: Pride, Teamwork, Guest Service, and Character. Fans, front office, and fellow event staff are able to nominate an event staff associate who they feel is deserving of this honor. The winner will be announced in September during an on-field ceremony.
