Son of Thomas and Rose Miller. Has 2 younger siblings, Loren and Noah...Went to Ozaukee High School in Fredonia, Wisc., where he played baseball, football and basketball. He was a 1st-team all-conference selection in basketball his junior and senior years, and 2nd-team all-conference as a sophomore. Broke the school's scoring record with 1,115 career points and was named the baseball team's MVP and a 2nd-team all-conference selection as a freshman. Stopped playing basketball for Ozaukee after his freshman year to focus on travel baseball... Attended Illinois State University, where he majored in business administration. In his junior year, he was named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference First Team, First Team All-Region and Third Team All-American by ABCA/ Rawlings.

2019

Spent the entire season with Amarillo (AA) where his 147 hits headlined the Texas League and his .290 AVG (147507) ranked T-7th...In his 2nd professional season, posted a .355 OBP, .430 SLG and .785 OPS…also set career highs in games played (130), hits (147), 2B (28), HR (13), RBI (68), BB (46) and SB (5)...Led the Sod Poodles in games played, hits and BB and ranked 2nd in runs scored (76), 2B, RBI…among qualifying teammates, he ranked 2nd on the club in OBP, 3rd in AVG and 4th in OPS...His 218 total bases ranked 2nd in the TL only to teammate Edward Olivares' 221 TB...Named a TL Mid-Season All-Star after batting .309 (89-for288) with 15 2B, 8 HR, 40 RBI and 36 runs scored in the 1st half of the season…started at SS in the All-Star game in Tulsa, Okla...Dubbed TL Player of the Week for the weeks ending June 16 and August 4…from June 10-16, he batted .565 (13-for23) over 6 games...Hit .347 against left-handed pitchers and .276 vs. righties...Became first player in AMA franchise to record a 4-hit game on May 13 vs. Midland...Started all 10 games for the Sod Poodles during their TL postseason title run…went 11-for-43 (.256) and logged 3 multi-hit games...Following the season, was named a Baseball America Double-A All-Star and an MiLB.com Organizational AllStar for SD...Played for the Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League, though he went just 12-for-68 (.176) in 18 games.

Divided his 1st professional season between Fort Wayne (A) and Tri-City (A), batting .336 (100-for-298) with 19 2B, 3 3B, 4 HR, 33 RBI, 19 BB...Began the season with TRI, batting .335 (64-for-191) in 49 games with the Dust Devils...Hit .335 in the 1st half of the season (64-for-191) with a .395 OBP and .440 SLG, en route to being named a Northwest League Mid-Season All-Star...Promoted to FW on August 8, and in 26 games through the end of the season, slashed .336/.368/.495 with 11 2B, 2 HR and 13 RBI...Joined San Antonio (AA) on September 5 for their postseason run, slashing .257/.297/.400 in 8 postseason contests with 2 2B and 1 HR.
