allowed 4 homers in the 4th inning...was the first Cubs pitcher -- and the 18th hurler in big league history --to allow 4 roundtrippers in
an inning...at Iowa, he worked at least 6.0 innings in 17 of his 26 starts and went the distance twice -- including a complete-game 2-
