Re-signed with SF to a Minor League deal on April 18 after one outing in the Mexican League with Oaxaca...Joined Triple-A Sacramento a month later on May 14 after two outings with the ACL club...Allowed four runs in 22 innings (1.64 ERA) across nine games with the River Cats before having his contract selected on June 24...Made his Major League debut with San Francisco that night vs. the Cubs at Oracle Park...Allowed one run on three hits in 1.0 inning. Optioned by SF on June 25 and designated for assignment on June 26...Cleared waivers and was outrighted back to Triple-A on July 1...Landed on the IL at Sacramento on July 7 and missed nearly two months with a left shoulder impingement...Made four appearances in September for Sacramento, allowing five runs (one earned) in 3.2 innings.

Appeared in two spring contests with SF and was eventually assigned to Double-A Richmond, where he appeared in 26 games with a 2.17 ERA...Bumped up to Triple-A for the first time in his career in mid-July...Struggled a bit with the River Cats, logging a 5.48 ERA in 11 games.
2022
Was moved into a multi-inning relief role last season and had one of the best seasons of his career...he posted an 8-3 record with a 2.08 ERA over 37 relief appearances... Burgos recorded 67 strikeouts to 22 walks over his 65.0 innings pitched at High-A Lake County... He set a single-season career high in both appearances (37) and innings pitched (65.0)... From June 1 through the end of the season, Burgos posted a 1.49 ERA (8er, 48.1ip) with 48 strikeouts.

Appeared in only six games due to a right elbow impingement.

Did not appear in any games due to the canceled Minor League season, but did make four appearances for Manati in the Puerto Rican Winter League.
