Scott Anthony Seabol...graduated from South Allegheny High School (PA)...attended West Virginia University, where he earned second team All-Big East honors in 1996...he and wife, Diana, have twin sons, Cole and Cameron (7/31/05).

Hit .314 with 17 home runs and 46 RBI in 71 games with Albuquerque (AAA), before he was released on July 5...signed with the Kia Tigers of the Korean Baseball Organization...Named to Pacific Coast League All-Star Team, but did not appear in game as he was released on July 5 to sign with Korean team...had best month in May, batting .436 (48x110) with 15 home runs and 31 RBI in 29 games...hit in 13 straight games from May 2-14 with eight home runs over that span...hit .230 (17x74) with one homer and seven RBI in 22 June games, and just .190 (11x58) with one homer and eight RBI in 20 games in April...Hit .351 (20x57) with two homers and 27 RBI with runners in scoring position, and batted .323 (10x31) with one home run and 12 RBI when hitting with runners in scoring position and two outs...appeared defensively at all four infield positions...Appeared in 48 games with the Kia Tigers in Korea, and batted .163 (25x153) with six home runs and 14 RBI.
2005
Split season between St. Louis Cardinals and Memphis (AAA)... was recalled on May 12 and batted .254 (15x59) with one homer and eight RBI in 29 games during first of two stints with Cardinals... recorded first Major League hit on May 14 at New York (NL) with a pinch-hit infield single off Heath Bell... connected on first Major League home run on June 12 against the Yankees, a pinch-hit two-run homer off Tanyon Sturtze... was optioned to Memphis from June 25 to July 22... hit safely in 18 straight games with Memphis leading up to his recall, batting .440 (33x75) with seven home runs and 23 RBI from April 22 to May 11... homered in four straight games from May 5-8... after first stint with Cardinals that lasted from May 12 to June 25, was optioned back to Memphis before he was recalled again on June 22.
2004
Put together a solid season as Memphis Redbirds (AAA) regular third baseman, batting .304 with a career-high 31 home runs which placed him second among organizational HR leaders behind teammate Kevin Witt (36)...Batted .321 with 17 home runs and 41 RBI over his final 62 games...Finished among organizational leaders in batting (.304-10th), runs (92-2nd), hits (156-2nd), doubles (26-7th), RBI (78-3rd) and OPS (.895-5th)...Appeared in 98 games at 3B, 44 at 2B and two at 1B. Led Pacific Coast League third basemen with his 63 putouts...Hit a pair of home runs on 8/19 [1] at Tucson and had a season-high four RBI on 8/15 at Nashville...Enjoyed a season-best 16-game hit streak from 5/20-6/5 that included six multi-hit games...Since joining Memphis in '03, Scott has posted a .302 BA (248-821) in 226 games with 48 doubles, 47 HR's &136 RBI.
