Played college baseball at Kansas...ended his career as the Jayhawks' all-time career home run leader, totaling 29 in three seasons (2002-04)...hit 18 home runs in 2004, a single-season school record...named Honorable Mention All-Big 12 in 2004, batting .285 with 16 doubles, 18 home runs and 58 RBI in 63 games.

Spent the entire season at Frisco (AA)...ranked 2nd on the team in walks (45), games (121) and T2nd in stolen bases (9)...also ranked 4th in hits (94), home runs (8) and runs scored (51)...batted .190 (11-58) over his first 18 games, but hit .280 (33-116) over his next 32 games, improving his average to .253...had hits in 7 of 8 games from July 13-21 and batted .343 (12-35) with 5 doubles, 2 home runs and 3 RBI...also doubled in 4 consecutive games from July 18-21...hit .195 (42-215) in 60 road contests and .248 (52- 210) in 61 home games...also hit .238 (24-101) off left-handed pitching and .216 (70-324) against righties.

Named organization's Tom Grieve Minor League Player of the Year...ranked T2nd among Texas minor leaguers with 94 RBI and 3rd with 22 home runs...ranked 5th in the California League with 259 total bases...spent entire season at Bakersfield...led the Blaze in games, home runs and RBI...recorded season-high 14-game hit streak from Aug. 15-29, batting .339 (20-59) during that stretch...batted .193 (11- 57) in first 15 games, but hit .304 (136-448) in final 117 games, beginning April 26, to raise season average to .291...recorded 36 multi-hit games, including season-high 4 hits on 5 occasions...fell a homer short of the cycle on June 12 vs. San Jose, going 4-6 with a double and 2 triples...recorded a .945 (19 E/345 TC) fielding percentage...led Cal League third basemen in assists (244), double plays (26) and games (132) at the position...hit .306 (74-242) in 64 games at home...batted .340 (32-94) in 25 games in June.

Spent first professional season with Spokane...ranked among Northwest League leaders in extra base hits (1st, 37), RBI (2nd, 62), HR (T2nd, 15), total bases (3rd, 145), doubles (T3rd, 21), at-bats (4th, 290)...also led the league with 6 sacrifice flies and was tops among third baseman with a .959 fielding percentage...averaged a home run once every 19.33 at-bats, fifth-best in the league...recorded a .500 slugging percentage and .348 on-base percentage...recorded...registered season-high 5 RBI on June 19 at Boise, going 3-5 with his first professional home run...hit safely in 11 straight games from Aug. 17-27, batting .306 (15-49) during that span...batted .290 (40-138) with 10 HR and 43 RBI in 36 games at home and .243 (37-152) with 5 HR and 19 RBI in 36 road contests...hit 7 HR in July...drove in 25 runs in August...selected as an NWL East Division midseason all-star.
