Selected by the Rockies from Triple-A Albuquerque on Aug. 12, his first time on an active roster...Prior, had appeared in 11 Minor League seasons, including one season of independent ball for Sugar Land in 2020... Appeared in 100 games for Triple-A Albuquerque in his first season in the Rockies organization … slashed .254/.319/.395 in 100 games for the Isotopes...Led the Isotopes and finished fourth in Triple-A West with 23 stolen bases … was only caught twice...Appeared in 81 games in center field and five in both left and right field...Slashed .294/.315/.435 with two home runs and seven RBI against left-handers and .239/.321/.380 with five home runs and 23 RBI against right-handers...Hit .319 in May (22-for-69) and .301 in August (22-for-73).

2020

Did not appear in affiliated baseball … played for the independent Sugar Land Skeeters of the Constellation Energy League...Appeared in 23 games for Sugar Land, hitting .270 with two home runs and nine RBI, stealing six bases.

2019

Split the season between Double-A Tennessee and Triple-A Iowa in the Cubs organization before finishing the year with Sugar Land...Hit .323/.432/.516 in 11 games with Double-A Tennessee before appearing in 41 games with Triple-A Iowa...Slashed .314/.353/.461 with six home runs, 36 RBI and 32 stolen bases, only being caught once in 61 games with Sugar Land.

2018

Split the season between Tennessee and Iowa...Slashed .284/.354/.351 with nine stolen bases from Aug. 1 to the end of the season with the Smokies.

2017

Spent the entire season with Triple-A Sacramento in the San Francisco organization after signing as a Minor League free agent prior to the season...Stole 13 bases with one caught stealing in 82 games with the River Cats...Hit .326/.366/.442 with six doubles, a triple, a home run, 10 RBI and seven stolen bases in 34 games between June and July.

2016

Three years ago, Bernard was cut from the Padres and had to try out for the Tigers, where he became a mainstay atop lineup cards...batted .279 with 23 stolen bases in his third season with the Tigers' organization, splitting the year between double-A Erie and triple-A Toledo...Was in big league camp with the Tigers for the first time in his career...stayed in big league camp until the end of March with veteran outfielder Cameron Maybin sidelined. 

2015

Spent all of the 2015 season at Double-A Erie, batting .301 (161-for-534) with 78 runs scored, 29 doubles, eight triples, four home runs, 36 RBIs and 43 stolen bases in 135 games. Led the Eastern League with 161 hits, eight triples and 43 stolen bases, while he was second with 78 runs scored and fifth with a .301 batting average -- his 161 hits ranked as the second-most in a single-season in franchise history. Named a Tigers organizational all-star by MiLB.com. Selected to the midseason and postseason Eastern League All-Star Team. Compiled a 20-game hitting streak from April 19-May 13 -- during the streak, he hit .346 (28-for-81) with 13 runs scored, six doubles, one triple, one home run and seven RBI...the streak was tied for the longest single-season streak in Erie franchise history. Named Eastern League Player of the Week for the week ending May 24 after hitting .462 (12-for-26) with seven runs scored, five doubles, one home run and five RBI in six games. Finished the month of May with a .340 (35-for-103) batting average with 13 runs scored, 11 doubles, one home run and nine RBI. Hit .364 (43-for-118) during the month of August with 25 runs scored, two doubles, five triples, one home run and eight RBIs. Saw action in 20 games with Leones del Caracas of the Venezuelan Winter League and hit .288 (23-for-80) with 10 runs scored, five doubles, two triples and five RBIs.

2014

Selected the Midwest League's Most Valuable Player in 2014 after leading the league with a .323 average and 164 hits, while he was second with 91 runs scored, third with 45 stolen bases and fourth with a .394 on-base percentage and 224 total bases...Named to the Midwest League's mid-and postseason All-star squads...Selected the Tigers Minor League Player of the Month for June...Tabbed an organization All-Star following the season by MiLB.com...Collected a season-high 13-game hitting streak May 24-June 6...Batted .396 (36x91) with 19 runs scored, three doubles, two triples and 13 RBI in 24 games during June...Scored five runs on July 25 at Clinton...Knocked a season-best four hits July 29 versus Lake County -- equaled the high on July 30 versus Lake County and August 7 at Lancaster...Hit .364 (43x118) with 38 RBI with runners in scoring position.

Split the 2013 season between the AZL Padres, Class A Lake Elsinore, Class A Fort Wayne and Class A Eugene in the San Diego Padres organization...Assigned to single A Lake Elsinore to begin the season -- appeared in four games before having his contract transferred to AZL Padres on April 17...Had his contract transferred to single A Fort Wayne on June 7 -- appeared in five games before having his contract transferred back to the AZL Padres...Had his contract transferred to Class A Eugene for the remainder of the season on June 26...Batted .250 (34x136) with five doubles, one triple, one home run and 10 RBI in 39 games with Class A Eugene.

2012

Selected by san Diego in the 35th round of the June 2012 draft and saw his first professional action in 23 games with the AZL Padres.
