Professional baseball players know the importance of maintaining their fitness level. Children need help to learn that staying active and eating the right things can make them better baseball players, or computer programmers, or whatever they like to do.
Medical City Arlington and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation designed these exercise videos to supplement 5th grade physical education curriculum and motivate kids to eat healthier, get moving, and live a healthy lifestyle. These exercise videos star trainer, Terry Williams, M. Ed., CSCS, and Arlington ISD students. Each video focuses on one muscle group, plus a segment on nutrition. The videos can be split up into one chapter per class, or it can be watched all the way through.
