President, REV Entertainment & Executive Vice President, Sports & Entertainment
Sean Decker serves as President of REV Entertainment, the official sports and entertainment company of the Texas Rangers. Since its launch in 2021, REV Entertainment has expanded under Decker’s leadership into a full-service organization with multiple verticals focused on enhancing the events and entertainment business nationwide, including REV Events, REV Sports Management, and REV Sports Marketing.
Decker has led the company since its inception and sets the strategic vision for each business vertical. During his tenure, REV has grown from a staff of three to hundreds of employees across its properties nationwide. In recognition of his impact on the industry, Decker was named to the Sports Business Journal Forty Under 40 Class of 2025.
REV’s Events division produces a diverse portfolio of concerts, sporting events, and private events, delivering year-round entertainment at Globe Life Field, Choctaw Stadium, and other REV-managed venues nationwide. These include Texas Health Mansfield Stadium in Mansfield, Texas—the future home of North Texas SC of MLS NEXT Pro—and The Arena at Innovation Mile in Noblesville, Indiana, home of the Noblesville Boom of the NBA G League. The company takes a forward-thinking approach to event procurement and execution and played a key role in bringing the inaugural Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, an INDYCAR street race, to Arlington’s Entertainment District in March 2026.
REV’s Sports Management division oversees team operations nationwide. REV owns and operates a growing portfolio of professional sports franchises, including the Cleburne Railroaders and Kane County Cougars of the American Association, the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League, the Schaumburg Boomers of the Frontier League, and the New Mexico Goatheads of the ECHL.
REV’s Sports Marketing division launched in 2023 as the company’s partnership, sponsorship sales, and brand consulting arm. The department has established partnerships with local and national brands, including Texas Health Resources, Amegy Bank, Bailey & Galyen, Electrolit, and others, while actively pursuing opportunities across REV-operated events, franchises, and venues.
Decker was promoted to his current role in January 2020 after previously serving as Senior Vice President, Operations & Events for the Texas Rangers beginning in June 2017. He earlier served as Vice President of Ballpark Operations and has held several roles since joining the organization in 2010, including Senior Account Executive of Suite Sales, Director of Sales, and Assistant Vice President of Rangers Enterprises.
Decker began his career in professional baseball as an umpire in the Central League and the American Association. He later worked as an Operations Assistant with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox of the Pacific Coast League, as Assistant Director of Baseball Operations for Major League Baseball’s Arizona Fall League, and as Corporate Marketing Manager for the Frisco RoughRiders before joining the Rangers.
A native of Grapevine, Texas, Decker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Studies from Tarleton State University and was honored as Tarleton’s Outstanding Young Alumnus of the Year in 2023. He and his wife, Renni, have two sons, Rhett and Reed, and reside in Colleyville, Texas.
