A pair of Dodgers prospects had big games Sunday, as DJ Peters -- Los Angeles' No. 6 prospect according to MLB Pipeline -- and Cristian Santana (No. 13) shined with multi-hit performances. Peters went 2-for-3 with a double and a two-run homer in Double-A Tulsa's 9-5 loss to Frisco. Meanwhile, Santana had a 3-for-5 game, with a double and four RBIs in Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga's 10-2 victory over Inland Empire.
Peters is hitting .235/.325/.448 with 15 home runs in 75 games for Tulsa this season, while Santana is slashing .243/.272/.390 with 12 home runs in 77 games for Rancho Cucamonga.
Other notable performances from top prospects Sunday:
• White Sox No. 4 prospectDylan Cease (No. 42 prospect overall) tossed seven strong innings in Double-A Birmingham's 4-3 loss to Jackson, giving up just one run on five hits while walking two and striking out seven. He lowered his season ERA to 3.13 in 15 starts between Class A Advanced Winston-Salem (13 starts) and Birmingham.

• Red Sox No. 5 prospectSam Travis provided all the scoring in Triple-A Pawtucket's 2-0 victory over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, launching a two-run homer as part of a 2-for-4 performance. He's hitting .225/.286/.337 with five homers in 51 games for Pawtucket this season.

• Taylor Widener, the D-backs' No. 4 prospect, turned in six strong frames in Double-A Jackson's 4-3 win over Birmingham, surrendering one run on four hits, walking two and fanning seven. The performance lowered the right-hander's ERA to 2.71 in 15 starts this season.
• Nationals No. 5 prospectLuis Garcia went 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Class A Hagerstown's 11-4 victory over West Virginia. The 18-year-old third baseman is hitting .299/.339/.406 with three home runs and eight steals in 76 games this season.
• JoJo Romero, the Phillies' No. 6 prospect, tossed six strong innings in Double-A Reading's 10-3 win over Hartford. The 21-year-old left-hander gave up one run on four hits, walking two and striking out eight to lower his season ERA to 4.27 in 16 starts.

• Marlins No. 18 prospectBrayan Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run (his first of the season), and four RBIs in Class A Short Season Batavia's 8-4 win over West Virginia. The right fielder had been off to a slow start, hitting .129 (4-for-31) entering the contest.
• Rays No. 26 prospect Resly Linares struck out 10 over six stellar innings for Class A Bowling Green in their 5-3 victory over West Michigan. The 20-year-old southpaw gave up two runs on four hits, walking two. In seven starts for Bowling Green this season, Linares has a 4.09 ERA.
• A pair of 2018 Draft selections turned in big performances as well on Sunday -- Rockies first-round (Competitive Balance Round A) pick Grant Lavigne homered for the third straight game during a 4-for-5 day for Rookie-level Grand Junction. In eight professional games, the first baseman is hitting .424 in 32 at-bats.
"The biggest thing with [Lavigne] is how impressive he is for his age," Grand Junction hitting coach Zach Osbourne said. "He's got a great approach up there and he doesn't really steer away from it at all. To watch that and see his success, it's really impressive right now."

Meanwhile, another first baseman drafted last month -- Chris Williams, selected by the Twins in the eighth round -- went 3-for-5 with a pair of homers and five RBIs in Rookie-level Elizabethton's 8-7 loss to Princeton. In 11 professional games, he's hitting .286 (12-for-42) with four homers.
