Yankees slugger and Rockies third baseman were named MLB's Players of the Week presented by Chevrolet on Monday.

Judge's home run surge made him the American League Player of the Week, and Fuentes powered the Colorado offense all week to earn National League Player of the Week honors.

Judge hit five homers during the week to lead the Majors, including four in the Yankees' weekend series against the Orioles. He now has 12 home runs on the season, tied for the MLB lead with Shohei Ohtani, Ronald Acuña Jr. and Mitch Haniger.

Judge also batted an AL-best .571 and posted an MLB-high 1.333 slugging percentage and 1.973 OPS for the week.

Fuentes racked up 13 RBIs for the Rockies, leading all players for the week. The 28-year-old had multiple RBIs in all five games he played during the week and hit a pair of home runs during his streak.

Fuentes batted .500 with a .909 slugging percentage and 1.431 OPS that were both second-best in the NL.

This is Judge's fourth career Player of the Week Award. He most recently won for the last week of July 2020. Judge is the second Yankee to be named AL Player of the Week this month, after Corey Kluber won two weeks ago.

Fuentes was named Player of the Week for the first time in his career. The last Rockies player to win the award was Daniel Murphy in July 2019.
