Twins option Florimon and Herrmann to Triple-A Rochester

Club Plans to Make Corresponding Roster Moves Tomorrow

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced after today's game that they have optioned infielder Pedro Florimon and catcher/outfielder Chris Herrmann to Triple-A Rochester. In 25 games for the Twins, Florimon hit .108 (7-for-65) with two extra-base hits and one RBI. In 14 games, Herrmann hit .114 (4-for-35) with one run scored. Both players will be in uniform the Red Wings' game tomorrow in Toledo.

To replace those two on the 25-man roster, the Twins will make corresponding roster moves prior to tomorrow night's game in Detroit.
