Here's a look at Friday's top Minor League performers from each team's Top 30 Prospects list:

AMERICAN LEAGUE EAST

Blue Jays: Hector Perez, RHP (No. 15) -- 5 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 7 K (Double-A New Hampshire)
Perez struggled out of the gate, posting a 10.69 ERA across his first five starts, but has now pitched well in consecutive starts, yielding three runs on seven hits over his last 11 frames. The 22-year-old righty's well-below-average control has led to 19 walks in 27 innings, but he continues to miss bats and pile up strikeouts (37) at an impressive rate. It's for that reason that most scouts expect the 6-foot-3, 218-pounder to end up in a late-inning bullpen role.

Orioles: Keegan Akin, LHP (No. 6) -- 6 2/3 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 6 K (Triple-A Norfolk)
Control problems along with high pitch counts have prevented Akin from pitching deep into games early in the season, but the 24-year-old southpaw cleared that hurdle on Friday night as he turned in his longest start in 2019. He allowed just two hits over the first six innings but was unable to complete the seventh, departing the game after yielding a two-out RBI single on an 0-2 pitch. Akin still managed to record his first Triple-A win, throwing 63 of 89 pitches for strikes in the strong outing.

Rays: Brendan McKay, LHP/DH (No. 3, MLB No. 26) -- 5 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 7 K (Double-A Montgomery)
McKay lowered his ERA to 1.82 as he allowed one run or fewer for a fifth time of six starts this season -- the 2017 first-rounder’s (No. 4 overall pick) first at the Double-A level. What’s more, the 23-year-old southpaw has yet to give up more than three hits in any of those outings, limiting hitters to a .175 average overall. He’s missing a lot of bats, too, as Friday’s performance pushed his season strikeout total up to 47 in 29 2/3 innings (15.3 K/9). The two-way talent hasn’t fared as well at the plate this season, producing a .164/.254/.180 line in 61 at-bats.

Red Sox: Jarren Duran, OF (No. 10) -- 2-for-4 (Class A Adv Salem)
Duran, a seventh-round pick from last year's Draft, continued his hot streak with another multihit performance, his third in as many games. Duran is 8-for-14 over the past three games, and he's hitting .398 through 31 games this season. The 22-year-old is making his full-season debut after hitting .357 over 67 games last year after the Draft.

Yankees: Luis Gil, RHP (No. 13) – 5 IP, 2 H, 3 R (0 ER), 2 BB, 9 K (Class A Charleston)
Gil, 20, has racked up 44 strikeouts over 27 innings this year and that trend continued on Friday as he threw 57 of his 86 pitches for strikes. The 20-year-old has a 1.00 ERA through six starts. In 2018, Gil posted a 1.96 ERA through 12 starts.

AMERICAN LEAGUE CENTRAL

Indians: Daniel Johnson, OF (No. 22) -- 2-for-4, 2 HR (6), 2 RBI, 2 R (Double-A Akron)
After going hitless in his first two trips to the plate, Johnson teed off on solo home runs to right field in his next two at-bats to record his third career multihomer game. He’s up to six home runs on the season, three of which he’s hit in his past two games. The 23-year-old outfielder, who’s hitting .250/.345/.510 in his second Double-A campaign, also has a three-game streak going of two-RBI performances.

Royals: Arnaldo Hernandez, RHP (No. 26) -- 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 6 K (Double-A Northwest Arkansas)
Hernandez got off to a rough start this season (0-2, 10.58 ERA) through six games with Triple-A Omaha and was then bumped down to Double-A, where he seemingly got back on track. Hernandez set season highs for both innings and strikeouts as he threw 57 of his 96 pitches for strikes. The scoreless start was also the first such outing of the year for the 23-year-old, who signed with the Royals out of Venezuela in 2012.

Tigers: Willi Castro, SS (No. 7) -- 4-for-5, 3B, 3 RBI, 2 R, SB; Dawel Lugo, 2B (No. 18) -- 4-for-5, 2B, RBI, 2 R, SB (Triple-A Toledo)
The pair of Tigers Top 30 infielders teamed up to record more than half of Toledo’s hits on Friday night, leading the Mud Hens past Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 12-8. They each finished with an extra-base hit, two runs scored and a stolen base. Castro, 22, is hitting .321/.409/.446 on the season after his four-hit game, while the 24-year-old Lugo pushed his overall line up to .336/.383/.448 with his third multihit performance in four games.

Twins: Luke Raley, OF (No. 26) -- 3-for-4, HR (7), 2B, 3 RBI, 2 R (Triple-A Rochester)
Raley homered for a second consecutive game as he extended his hitting streak to nine games for the Red Wings via his fourth straight multihit performance. The 24-year-old outfielder is batting .436 (17-for-39) with five home runs and 11 RBIs during his streak, giving him an overall batting line of .300/.369/.560 for the season.

White Sox: Bryce Bush, 3B (No. 21) -- 1-for-3, 2 BB (Class A Kannapolis)
Bush, 19, reached base in three of his five plate appearances. A 33rd-round pick from last year's Draft, Bush is hitting .230 through 30 games this season. Last season, in his pro debut, Bush hit .309 over 38 games.

AMERICAN LEAGUE WEST

A’s: Jorge Mateo, SS (No. 8) – 1-for-6, HR, 2 RBI (Triple-A Las Vegas)
Mateo extended his hitting streak to nine games with a two-run homer in the third inning. The 23-year-old struggled and hit just .230 in 2018, but has bounced back in a big way this season and is hitting .338 in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League.

Angels: Luis Madero, RHP (No. 21) -- 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K (Double-A Mobile)
Starting the opener of Mobile’s doubleheader against Jacksonville, Madero allowed leadoff singles in each of the first two innings before finding his groove and retiring 15 of the final 16 batters he faced en route to his first Double-A win. The six-inning performance was the longest of the season for the 22-year-old, who threw 61 of his 86 pitches for strikes, striking out three and inducing seven groundouts. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder was promoted to Mobile after he had posted a 1.13 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 16 innings for Class A Advanced Inland Empire.

Astros: Kyle Tucker, OF (No. 2, MLB No. 7) -- 3-for-5, HR (10), 2B, 2 RBI; Yordan Alvarez, OF/1B (No. 3, MLB No. 39) – 3-for-4, 2B, 3 RBI, BB (Triple-A Round Rock)
Two of the Astros' top three prospects showed exactly why they are so highly regarded in an 8-7 win over Omaha. Tucker is off to a slow start this season, but he may be turning a corner with hits in three straight games. Tucker is hitting just .229 on the season, but his power hasn't wavered as he's already hit 10 homers after hitting 24 last year. While Tucker has been off to a slow start, Alvarez has been red-hot and is hitting .398 through 32 games. Alvarez has already amassed 44 RBIs and has nine games of three or more RBIs.

Mariners: Joe Rizzo, 3B (No. 22) – 3-for-5, HR, RBI (Class A Adv Modesto)
Rizzo, a second-round pick from the 2016 Draft, put together his seventh three-hit game of the season, hit his first homer of the year and boosted his average to .346 in the process. The 21-year-old hit .241 over 123 games with Modesto last season and may be moving up to Double-A soon if he stays hot offensively.

Rangers: Sam Huff, C/1B (No. 21) -- 2-for-4, 2B, RBI, R, BB (Class A Adv Down East)
After hitting .333 with 15 homers, Huff was promoted from Class A Hickory after 30 games. It's only been two games, but so far the transition to Down East hasn't slowed him down. Through two games, Huff is 3-for-8 with a pair of doubles. The 21-year-old, a seventh-round pick from 2016, hit .241 over 118 games last season.

NATIONAL LEAGUE EAST

Braves: Austin Riley, 3B/1B (No. 3, MLB No. 33) -- 2-for-5, solo HR (13), 2 R (Triple-A Gwinnett); Kyle Muller, LHP (No. 12) -- 7 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 6 K (Double-A Mississippi)
Riley leads the International League with 13 home runs after he went deep in his first at-bat in Gwinnett’s win over Pawtucket. The 22-year-old masher has hit eight of his bombs in the last 10 games -- a stretch during which he’s also hitting .410 with 17 RBIs and six multihit performances. One level down, Muller, 21, posted his second straight seven-inning start as he recorded his first win in seven turns for the M-Braves. The 6-foot-6 lefty has struggled with his control at times this season, issuing 26 walks in 33 innings, but he’s also pitching with improved velocity in the form of a consistent mid-90s heater that can touch a few ticks higher.

Marlins: Jorge Guzman, RHP (No. 9) -- 6 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 2 K (Double-A Jacksonville)
The flamethrowing right-hander took a tough-luck loss as he was outdueled by Mobile’s Luis Madero in the first game of a doubleheader. It still marked Guzman’s second straight start in which he’s completed six or more innings. He’s now accomplished the feat three times in seven starts this season after doing so on four occasions in 21 starts in 2018. The 23-year-old has thrown the ball increasingly well of late, allowing three runs in 17 2/3 innings over his last three starts.

Mets: Tony Dibrell, RHP (No. 17) -- 5 2/3 IP, 5 H, 2 R (1 ER), 2 BB, 6 K (Class A Adv St. Lucie)
After cruising through the first four innings, Dibrell issued a pair of walks in the fifth, one of which came around to score, and was then charged with an unearned run in sixth. It was the fourth time in seven starts in which the 23-year-old righty fanned five-or-more batters while completing at least 5 1/3 frames. A fourth-round pick out of Kennesaw State in 2017, Dibrell finished tied for the South Atlantic League strikeout title (147) last year in his first full season.

Phillies: Alec Bohm, 3B (No. 1, MLB No. 53) -- 2-for-5, 3B, 2 RBI, 2 R (Class A Adv Clearwater)
Bohm, who drove in 17 runs over 40 games in his pro debut last year, bumped his RBI total up to 16 (in 32 games) this season with a two-run single in the third inning. Bohm later added a triple, his first of the year, and is now hitting .336.

Nationals: Wil Crowe, RHP (No. 4) -- 6 IP, 6 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K (Double-A Harrisburg)
Crowe, 24, rebounded from his worst start of the season (4 IP, 10 H, 5 ER) to toss six scoreless frames with seven strikeouts, matching his season-high total. The 2017 second-rounder is 4-1 through seven starts and currently ranks eighth in the Eastern League with a 1.89 ERA. He's fanned 35 batters in 38 innings and has yet to allow a home run.

NATIONAL LEAGUE CENTRAL

Brewers: Corey Ray, OF (No. 2, MLB No. 94) -- 2-for-5, HR (1), 2 RBI (Triple-A San Antonio)
Ray has been off to a slow start this season and then wound up on the injured list. In his return from the IL, the 24-year-old went 1-for-10 over three games before breaking the slump with his first homer as part of a multihit effort on Thursday. Ray is hitting .177 through 16 games. Ray hit just .239 last year, but did break out for 27 homers.

Cubs: Oscar De La Cruz, RHP (No. 22) -- 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 7 K (Double-A Tennessee)
De La Cruz, 24, faced two over the minimum, striking out seven and scattering two hits over six innings in his second Double-A start of the season. The Dominican right-hander has been electric so far this season in his return from the 80-game performance-enhancing drug suspension that wiped out the second half of his first Double-A campaign in 2018. In five starts between Tennessee and Class A Advanced Myrtle Beach, De La Cruz has pitched to a 1.04 ERA with 29 strikeouts in 26 innings.

Cardinals: Nolan Gorman, 3B (No. 1, MLB No. 55) -- 1-for-3, HR (8), 2 RBI, BB (Class A Peoria)
Gorman celebrated his 19th birthday with his eighth homer of the season. The first-round pick from the 2018 Draft (No. 19 overall) hit 17 homers over 63 games in his pro debut and that power, Gorman's best tool, has carried over into his full season debut.

Pirates: Ke’Bryan Hayes, 3B (No. 2, MLB No. 41) -- 3-for-4, 2B, R, BB, SB (Triple-A Indianapolis)
Hayes put together his second three-hit game of the season and reached base four times in a win over Lehigh Valley. The 22-year-old is hitting .266 through 30 games this season, his first at the Triple-A level. After hitting .293 through 177 games last year, Hayes is looking to get into a rhythm offensively and may make his Major League debut later this season.

Reds: Tony Santillan, RHP (No. 5) -- 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 5 K (Double-A Chattanooga)
Santillan’s start arguably was his best this season, as the 22-year-old right-hander recorded five strikeouts and nine groundouts while throwing 58 of his 88 pitches for strikes over six scoreless innings. The Reds’ second-round pick in the 2015 Draft started to put it together in 2017 and then broke out in earnest last year, garnering Reds Minor League Pitcher of the Year honors after posting a 3.08 ERA with 134 strikeouts in 149 innings (26 starts) between the Class A Advanced and Double-A levels.

NATIONAL LEAGUE WEST

D-backs: Blaze Alexander, SS (No. 9) -- 2-for-4, HR (2), 3 RBI (Class A Kane County)
Alexander provided the Cougars with an early lead with a two-run home run in the second inning, followed by an RBI single in the subsequent frame. It was the second straight two-hit performance for the 19-year-old shortstop, who received an above-slot bonus of $500,000 from the D-backs last year after they had drafted him in the 11th round. Through 12 games in his first full season, Alexander is hitting .273 with four extra-base hits and three steals.

Dodgers: Jeter Downs, SS (No. 7) -- 3-for-4, 3B, 2 R (Class A Adv Rancho Cucamonga)
Downs scored both of the Quakes' runs and collected three hits out the leadoff spot against Visalia. Acquired in the offseason trade that sent a Yasiel Puig-led player package to Cincinnati, Downs has hit .210 with 10 extra-base hits and seven steals through 29 games. In 2018, his first full season, Downs slashed .257/.351/.402 with 13 homers and 37 steals over 120 games with Class A Dayton.

Giants: Chris Shaw, OF (No. 11) -- 3-for-4, HR (6), 2B, 3 RBI, BB (Double-A Richmond)
The 25-year-old slugger hit his fourth home run in his last 10 games, giving him six deep flies in 28 games this season in his return to Double-A. The former first-rounder (2015) is back in the Eastern League this season even though he appeared in 22 games for the Giants -- hitting .185 with one home run and 23 strikeouts in 22 games -- after hitting 24 home runs in the Minors for a second straight year.

Padres: Luis Urias, INF (No. 3, MLB No. 22) -- 3-for-4, solo HR (8), 2B (Triple-A El Paso)
Urias' solo home run in the third inning accounted for all of El Paso's offense in a 2-1 loss against Albuquerque. He also collected three of the Chihuahua's five hits in the contest -- his second three-hit effort in the last four games. With eight home runs through 20 games this season, the 21-year-old infielder has already matched his career-high Minor League total achieved in 120 games last season in his first Triple-A campaign.

Rockies: Vince Fernandez, OF (No. 24) -- 2-for-5, HR (7), 2 RBI (Double-A Hartford)
Fernandez padded the Yard Goats' lead in the eighth inning as he connected on his second home run in as many games. The 2016 10th-rounder hit 24 home runs (for Class A Advanced Lancaster in the hitter-friendly California League) last season but also struck out 172 times, so it's an encouraging that's he's doing a better job of controlling the strike zone this year without it detracting from his power.
