C William Contreras
Injury: Left middle finger surgery
Expected return: 2026
Status: Underwent a procedure the week of Halloween to address a longstanding fracture in the middle finger of his glove hand. President of baseball operations Matt Arnold reiterated during the Winter Meetings that Contreras is expected to be healthy in plenty of time for Spring Training. (updated Dec. 11)
3B Caleb Durbin
Injury: Right elbow surgery
Expected return: 2026
Status: Underwent an arthroscopic procedure on Oct. 30 to remove a bone spur in his throwing elbow. Because the procedure was minor, it is not expected to delay the start of his offseason workouts. (updated Nov. 6)
RHP J.B. Bukauskas
Injury: Right lat surgery
Expected return: 2026
Status: Suffered a major setback while throwing live batting practice on Feb. 19 and missed all of 2025. (updated: Oct. 20)
OF Garrett Mitchell
Injury: Left oblique, left shoulder
Expected return: 2026
