Terms & Conditions

Application Period: Applications will be accepted online starting on 12:00 a.m. ET January 9, 2023, and ending at 11:59 p.m. ET on February 6, 2023.

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the United States and Canada who, at the time of application: (a) are at least eighteen (18) years of age and legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and (b) maintain public TikTok and Instagram accounts.

General Conditions: By applying, each applicant (a) accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all application requirements; and (b) gives his/her express permission to be contacted by MLB and/or its representatives for administration purposes. MLB’s consideration of an application is not any admission by MLB of the novelty, propriety or originality of the application and shall not deprive any MLB Entity of rights to similar or identical concepts developed within, or used by or submitted to, any MLB Entity, or of rights now or hereafter existing in the public domain. MLB will evaluate applications and choose Creator Class members in its sole discretion. Participation in the MLB Creator Class program will require you to submit to MLB your valid social security number and/or other identification to MLB and to execute certain documentation to be provided by MLB at the time of invitation. MLB Creator Class members may receive an IRS Form 1099 for any compensation valued at $600 or greater.

Content Restrictions: Applicants must not include any of the following in any MLB Creator Class-related submission, including video or other content published on third-party platforms: (a) vulgarity, profanity, nudity, or material which is adult-oriented, sexually-explicit, indecent, or inappropriate; (b) materials relating to lotteries or gambling; /(c/) explicit language or content, images of violence, or promotion of illegal activities; (d) content in violation of intellectual property rights or laws; (e) false, libelous, defamatory, disparaging, tortious, or slanderous materials; (f) content that denigrates, disparages, or reflects negatively on the MLB Entities, their owners and employees, or the game of baseball; (g) tobacco, e-cigarettes, alcohol, or drugs; (h) dangerous stunts or real weapons of any kind, including but not limited to guns, knives, or projectiles; (i) material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred, or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, age, or any other basis protected by law, ordinance, or regulation; (j) any individual under legal age of majority without providing a signed release from his/her parent or legal guardian; (k) audio, visual, and/or multimedia content owned by any third party (e.g., recorded music, pre-produced video, etc.); and (l) material that is unlawful or otherwise in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where the submission is created, including but not limited to laws relating to rights of privacy or publicity. Any submission that does not comply with the foregoing, in the sole discretion of MLB, will be disqualified and eliminated from consideration.

Conditions Applicable to the Perks: All details related to the perks ("Perks") that will be offered to individuals who are selected to join the 2023 MLB Creator Class (each, a "Creator") shall be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of MLB and MLB is not obligated to provide any Perks to any Creator.

Notification: Selected applicants to be interviewed will be notified at the email provided at the time of submission.
