A Home Run for Altadena: Dodgers Dreamfields Brings Hope and Healing to Loma Alta Park

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation has revitalized Loma Alta Park with two new Dodgers Dreamfields to serve youth and families affected by the Eaton Fire, in partnership with LA County Parks, the LA84 Foundation, and Security Benefit. As the first park to reopen in the area, it stands as a symbol of recovery and resilience, offering a place to play, heal, and rebuild together.

YOSHIKI & LADF Raise Funds for Wildfire Relief

Japanese artist YOSHIKI partnered with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation to launch a wildfire relief auction featuring sheet music autographed by himself as well as Dodger pitchers Roki Sasaki and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, bringing together the worlds of music and sport. The initiative raised to support fire-impacted communities in Los Angeles and Ofunato, Japan.

Backed by LADF and partners, the event celebrated the resilience and strength of girls in sports, showing that investing in youth is key to rebuilding and uplifting our communities.

Loma Alta Park - Dreamfields

Loma Alta Park Reopens with Dodgers Dreamfields 66 & 67

Loma Alta Park is now home to the revitalized 66th and 67th Dodgers Dreamfields, restored after the Eaton Fire. These baseball and softball diamonds give local youth a safe and welcoming place to play and heal. The reopening marks a key step in Altadena’s recovery and demonstrates LADF’s commitment to community through sport.

JO1 and Relief Efforts

JO1 Supports Dodgers Dreamteam and Wildfire Relief Efforts

During Japanese Heritage Night at Dodger Stadium, pop group JO1 presented a $50,000 donation to the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation to support wildfire relief efforts and Dodgers Dreamteam programming. The donation helps LADF rebuild communities impacted by the Eaton and Palisades fires and expand its reach to 15,000 youth across 122 sites.

2025 Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour

The Los Angeles Dodgers, in partnership with Bank of America, embarked on the annual Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour with a special mission this year. In response to the recent wildfires, the tour shifted its focus to supporting those affecting and celebrating the heroic first responders who battled the blazes. Dodger players and staff visited various sites across LA County, including the LAFD Station 69 in Pacific Palisades, the Robinson Recreational Center in Pasadena, and the LA County Regional Food Bank to share some much-needed joy during these difficult times.

The Dodgers and Los Angeles sports teams bring relief to the communities impacted by L.A. fires

The Dodgers and Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, in conjunction with 11 other Los Angeles professional sports teams, hosted a donation event at Dodger Stadium on Friday for thousands of individuals and families impacted by the L.A. wildfires. Volunteers and players from various teams, like Dodger pitchers Blake Snell and Anthony Banda and utilityman Chris Taylor and Sparks guard Lexie Brown, served people who were impacted by the fires.

Online Auction to benefit local non-profits serving the communities impacted by the wildfires

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation is conducting an online auction encouraging fans to bid on Dodgers memorabilia that includes items from Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Freddie Freeman! Net proceeds will support Baby2Baby, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and our ongoing efforts and support to local non-profits serving the communities impacted by the wildfires.
