Experience with Roberts part of charity auction

LAS VEGAS -- For the seventh consecutive year, the Dodgers have joined MLB in a Winter Meetings charity auction, this time benefiting the Jackie Robinson Foundation and the Negro Leagues Museum, two important institutions that educate future generations of young people through honoring significant moments and individuals of baseball's past.
The auction is live on MLB.com/wintermeetingsauction from now through Thursday, when it will conclude at 7 p.m. PT. Items include special baseball experiences, including meetings with some of the game's biggest stars, along with unique items donated by MLB and the 30 clubs.
Among the items made available by the Dodgers are unique ballpark experiences with manager Dave Roberts and pitching coach Rick Honeycutt, and a chance to serve as a bat boy or bat girl for a Spring Training game.
Bid on Dodgers experiences
The winning bidder for the Honeycutt experience will receive a pitching lesson from the team's longtime Major League pitching coach.
The winning bidder for the Roberts experience will receive four tickets to a mutually agreed upon game and the opportunity to sit next to the Dodgers' manager in the dugout during his pregame media session in Los Angeles.
The winning bidder for the bat boy or bat girl experience will serve as the bat boy or bat girl for a game at the Dodgers' Spring Training home in Glendale, Ariz. The package also includes four tickets to the mutually agreed upon game. Travel and lodging in Arizona are not included.
Additional items made available by the Dodgers include game-used baseballs from the 2017 World Series, one hit for a double by , the other hit for a double by . A autographed baseball from the 2018 Home Run Derby is also up for auction.
