Dodgers add Zach Lee, Chris Reed and Scott Schebler to 40-man roster

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today selected the contracts of right-handed pitcher Zach Lee, left-handed pitcher Chris Reed and outfielder Scott Schebler to the club's 40-man roster.

Lee, 23, went 7-13 with a 5.38 ERA in 28 games (27 starts) for the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes in 2014. The Dodgers' 2013 Branch Rickey Minor League Pitcher of the Year was with the Dodgers in Spring Training this past season as a non-roster invitee and was originally selected in the first round (28th overall) of the 2010 First-Year player Draft. In four minor league seasons, the Texas native has struck out 422 and walked 153 in 523.1 innings pitched.

Reed, 24, was a Double-A Southern League All-Star in 2014, posting a 3.23 ERA (49 ER/137.0 IP) in 23 starts for Double-A Chattanooga. The Dodgers' first-round selection in 2011 (16th overall) also made five starts for Triple-A Albuquerque in 2014. The Southern California native and former Stanford Cardinal star owns a 4.12 ERA (171 ER/373.1 IP) in parts of four minor league seasons in the organization.

Schebler, 24, was also a Double-A Southern League All-Star in 2014 in addition to being named a Baseball America postseason all-star. Schebler played all of his 135 games for the Double-A Chattanooga Lookouts and hit .280 with 28 homers, 73 RBI, 82 runs scored and 14 triples. The Iowa native played 132 games in the outfield, logging time in left (87 games), right (45) and center (12). Schebler, who was taken in the 26th round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft, was the Dodgers' 2013 Minor League Player of the Year.

The Dodgers now have 39 players on their 40-man roster.
