Status: Manager Warren Schaeffer said on April 17 that Freeland's MRI results were encouraging, and the team will continue to monitor his progress. (updated: April 17)
RHP Jeff Criswell

Status: Joined Rockies at Coors Field on April 17; will face hitters during homestand, with plan of shortly thereafter joining a Minor League affiliate. (updated: April 17)
INF Willi Castro
Injury: Bruised right hand
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Hit by a pitch on April 15, Castro was out of the starting lineup for the second straight game on April 17 but available off the bench. (updated: April 17)
RHP McCade Brown
Injury: Right shoulder inflammation (60-day IL)
IL date: March 26 (retroactive to March 22)
Expected return: To be determined after he is cleared for game action
Status: Continues playing catch at the team's facility in Scottsdale, Ariz. (updated: April 9)
RHP RJ Petit
Injury: Right elbow UCL strain (15-day IL)

Status: Dr. Keith Meister performed Tommy John surgery with an internal brace March 20 in Dallas. Petit, a Rule 5 Draft pick from the Tigers, will miss the season. (updated: March 25)
