Went 2-for-5 with three RBI in the Tar Heels’ 8-6 victory over Oregon State in the CWS lidlifter. Finished his college playing career as a junior at Connecticut, where he went 8-5 with a 4.22 ERA and 127 strikeouts in 91.2 innings (15 starts, including one shutout).

Started the season in the Minor Leagues, playing 21 games between Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City…combined to go 6-4 with a 3.35 ERA (33 ER/88.2 IP) while holding batters to a .199 average with 106 strikeouts...Was out from June 19-July 14 on the injured list...Made his Major League debut on Aug. 31 at ARI, tossing one perfect inning of relief while picking up the win...Went 2-0 with a 2.16 ERA (2 ER/8.1 IP) in three Major League outings…struck out five batters in his second career Major League appearance on Sept. 22, tying Michael Grove for the most strikeouts by a Dodgers reliever in an outing this season...Appeared in four Postseason games (one start), going 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA (1 ER/6.1 IP) with five strikeouts against five walks…picked up the win in Game 6 of the NLCS vs. NYM, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings and giving up two hits and one walk.

Began the season with Advanced-A Great Lakes (8 GS) before spending a majority of the season with Double-A Tulsa (18 G, 13 GS)...Combined to go 6-7 with a 5.27 ERA (63 ER/107.2 IP) with 120 strikeouts against 55 walks...Named Midwest League Pitcher of the Week on April 16 after pitching 6.0 scoreless innings with Advanced-A Great Lakes, giving up only two walks and striking out five.
2022
Began the season with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga before being promoted to Advanced-A Great Lakes on May 28...Combined to go 2-6 with a 5.22 ERA (52 ER/89.2 IP) in 27 games (16 starts) with 110 strikeouts against 46 walks...Picked up his first professional win on May 20 with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, tossing 5.0 innings and giving up five hits, one run and one walk while striking out a season-high eight.
