Dodgers to celebrate La Gran Fiesta Saturday

Trea Turner, Max Scherzer, Albert Pujols and Brusdar Graterol to make stage appearances

LOS ANGELES– The Los Angeles Dodgers will continue their celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month presented by UCLA Health tomorrow at La Gran Fiesta Viva Los Dodgers presented by Coca-Cola, Spectrum and Budweiser, which begins at 3:00 p.m. (auto gates open at 2:30 p.m.) at the 76 Station prior to the Dodgers’ 6:10 p.m. game against the Milwaukee Brewers. La Gran Fiesta concludes the club’s season-long Viva Los Dodgers festival series that recognizes the contribution of Latino players and fans to baseball through live music, giveaways and family friendly activities.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to catch Trea Turner’s appearance on stage at 3:10 p.m. Max Scherzer (5:30 p.m.), Albert Pujols (4:15 p.m.) and Brusdar Graterol (4:15 p.m.) are also expected to appear on stage and take questions from fans. In addition to player appearances, Saturday’s programming includes performances by Lupita Infante, Julian Torres and Ballet Folklorico Los Angelitos.

While in-person player autographs will not be possible due to COVID-19 restrictions, Dodger players pre-signed autograph cards which will be distributed to lucky fans throughout La Gran Fiesta. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to take photos with the 2020 World Series trophy and partake in interactive games, batting cages, rock climbing walls and a bungee experience.

Fans will also have a chance to stop by the Family Care Village presented by UCLA Health, which will offer a wide variety of clinical services, including free eye exams, basic dental screenings, blood pressure and blood glucose checks, answers to general health questions from various medical professionals, and giveaway items. In addition to UCLA Health, Spectrum, Coca-Cola and Budweiser, Dodgers partners 76, Adriana’s Insurance, Blue Shield of California, Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, Jim Beam, SoCal Honda and Univision will be on-site with photo opportunities, giveaways, inflatable games and samplings. Dodger concessions and merchandise will be available for purchase, including sweet treats and drinks from the Dodgers Michelada truck, ice cream truck and food truck. The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation will also have a presence at La Gran Fiesta, which is free with a game-day ticket.
