The Amazin’ Mets Foundation proudly supports the New York Mets’ participation in Major League Baseball’s Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program - an initiative designed to expand access to baseball and softball in underrepresented communities. As part of this effort, the Foundation sponsors the Mets Nike RBI Team, furthering its commitment to youth development and equity in the sport.
The Mets Nike RBI Team features talented local youth baseball players, who wear official Mets uniforms and compete in tournaments across the tri-state area.
The Mets Nike RBI Team is a key component of the broader Junior Mets Youth Baseball & Softball program, which provides year-round access to the sport through free educational clinics, baseball curriculum lessons, and equipment and ticket donations. The Amazin’ Mets Foundation partners with youth leagues and schools throughout the tri-state area to ensure that children of all backgrounds can participate and grow through the game of baseball.
Mets infielder, Marcus Semien serves as the team’s Nike RBI ambassador.
