This June’s Primary Election is more than just a vote — it’s your chance to shape the future of New York City. From your City Council representative to the Mayor, local leaders make decisions that affect your daily life.

Ranked Choice Voting

NYC uses Ranked Choice Voting for: Mayor, Public Advocate, Comptroller, Borough President, and City Council. (Offices like District Attorney and Judges don’t use ranked choice voting.)

You can rank up to 5 candidates in order of preference, making your vote go further!

How to rank your favorites:

1. Fill in your 1st choice on the line where their name is under the 1st column.
2. Then, make your 2nd choice and fill in the box under the 2nd column.
3. Repeat the same steps for your 3rd, 4th, and 5th choices.

Ranking more candidates gives you a greater say in the final outcome!

On your ranked choice ballot, don’t do these things:

• Don’t rank your favorite more than once. Only your 1st rank will count.
• Don’t rank multiple people as your first choice. You can only have one number 1.
• Don’t skip rankings. Rank just like you count: in order starting with one.

How to hit a home run with your vote.

There are multiple ways to make your voice heard!

Your first step? Make sure you’re registered. You can register to vote up until the first day of early voting: June 14. You have to be registered with a party to vote in that party’s primary!

Skip the lines! Vote early in-person from June 14 - June 22.

• Vote by Mail

Can’t make it in person or just prefer the comfort of your home? Request an absentee or early mail ballot by June 14.

• Election Day

Hit the polls on Election Day!

Score a Mets Ticket Voucher

1. Visit the Field Level concourse at Citi Field during select games.
2. Sign up for NYC Votes election alerts.
3. Score a ticket voucher good for an upcoming Mets home game!

Early redemption is encouraged! Vouchers are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seat locations and game dates vary. Fans who receive a ticket voucher for signing up for NYC Votes election alerts can redeem their ticket by clicking the button below beginning May 23, 2025.

Tickets are not available in all price levels or seating locations. Restrictions on seat locations apply. Voucher is not redeemable for cash or other considerations. Locations and games will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. The New York Mets reserve the right to limit the number of vouchers redeemed on specific dates.
