In New York State, the polls will be open from 6 AM to 9 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 for the General Election. Your early voting site may be different from your Election Day poll site, so make sure to check before you go!
Ya Gotta Vote!

Ya Gotta Vote this November. As part of the celebration for the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and 55th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the Mets are encouraging fans to exercise their right to vote. Be part of the change you want to see in our community by taking an active role in the election process with a few simple steps.

On August 20 Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo launched a portal enabling registered voters to request an absentee ballot due to risk or fear of exposure to illness including COVID-19. As part of his Executive Order, Gov. Cuomo has also allowed absentee ballots to be returned to drop boxes without a wait at 300+ locations statewide.
Once you fill out your absentee ballot, SIGN and DATE the back of your absentee ballot envelope. Ballots can be dropped off at your county Board of Elections Office starting now, and also at Early Voting sites from October 24 - November 1, or at polling sites on Election Day.
Ballots postmarked by November 3 will be counted if received by November 10th, seven days after Election Day.

New York is experiencing a critical shortage of poll workers due to COVID-19. Historically, 55% of all New York’s poll workers have been over the age of 60, making them especially vulnerable to the pandemic. This has resulted in a significant need for poll workers who are willing and able to assist with the administration of in-person voting during Early Voting, October 24 - November 1, 2020 and on Election Day, November 3, 2020.

Eligible individuals can register to vote at any time. In order to participate in the upcoming November 3rd election, the deadline to register to vote was Friday, October 9, 2020.
