HOUSTON, TX-- Single game tickets for the Houston Astros 2014 regular season go on sale Monday, March 3 at 10 a.m. Fans can also purchase season tickets, group tickets and reserve nightly suite rentals, which are available now. EXCITING OPPONENTS

In addition to the Yankees, the Astros will host several other exciting opponents this season, including the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, featuring long-time nemesis Albert Pujols, Mike Trout and Josh Hamilton. Also coming to Houston this season are Robinson Cano and the Seattle Mariners, former NL rivals the Atlanta Braves, former Astros catcher turned manager Brad Ausmus and two-time MVP Miguel Cabrera and the Detroit Tigers, Lone Star Series rivals the Texas Rangers and the reigning World Series Champion Boston Red Sox.

The 2014 home schedule is filled with a variety of new promotions and events for fans of all ages to enjoy. Below is a first glance at what fans can look forward to during the upcoming season.

Big and Bright Friday Nights

Friday nights are back, and they're bigger and brighter than ever! Every Friday night home game this season will feature your Astros wearing their orange alternate home jerseys and will include the return of the award-winning Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Marathon Oil Corporation.

$1 Hot Dog Thursdays

$1 hot dogs are back by popular demand in 2014! Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs presented by H-E-B every Thursday home game at Minute Maid Park. Get an early start to your weekend and cheer on the Astros-but be sure to come hungry!

Gate Giveaways

The 2014 season will feature several new gate giveaways, including a Father's Day BBQ grill set presented by Houston Methodist, an Astros gnome presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors, Orbit antenna presented by Coca-Cola and a cowboy boot mug presented by Xfinity. Additionally, the ever-popular bobblehead giveaways will return in 2014 featuring 2013 All-Star catcher Jason Castro in the primary home uniform set presented by Xfinity, newly-retired former Astros Lance Berkman and Roy Oswalt, and a dual bobblehead featuring Astros father and son front office duo Nolan and Reid Ryan presented by Houston Methodist. Three (3) jerseys will be featured as giveaways this season, including a Jose Altuve orange jersey presented by Houston Methodist, a former Astro and Yankees legend Andy Pettitte replica jersey presented by Waste Management and an Orbit rainbow batting practice jersey presented by Coca-Cola.

2014 Civil Rights Game

Major League Baseball and the Houston Astros are proud to co-host the eighth annual Civil Rights Game presented locally by Andrews Kurth, LLP on Friday, May 30 vs. the Baltimore Orioles. A series of ancillary events, including the MLB Beacon Awards Luncheon and the Baseball and Civil Rights Movement Roundtable Discussion, will take place throughout the two-day event to pay tribute to those who fought on and off the field for equal rights for all Americans. Friday's game will be aired nationally on MLB Network.

Faith And Family Night

The Astros are pleased to announce the return of Faith and Family Night presented by Houston Methodist at Minute Maid Park on Saturday, June 14. Join churches from all over for this night of fellowship, outreach, and celebration. Stick around for the post game concert by MercyMe immediately following the 3:05 game. Some additional events for fans to enjoy include:

Future Astros Days:  As a part of the premier youth sports program in Texas, the Astros are helping to get kids off the couch and participating in youth sports. Taking place at Minute Maid Park on April 27, May 4 and May 18, the program will culminate with the Future Astros parade featuring approximately 5,000 youth baseball and softball players.

Dog Day at Minute Maid Park: Bring man's best friend to Dog Day at Minute Maid Park on Sunday, April 27 and see your Houston Astros take on the Oakland Athletics at 1:10 p.m. Activities will include a dog zone, vendor expo, a Pooch Parade around the warning track, and more.

Cinco de Mayo: Join the Astros for a Cinco de Mayo celebration on Saturday, May 3rd before they take on the Seattle Mariners at 3:10pm. The Cinco de Mayo Street Fest will be open to all fans from 12:00-3:30pm on the Plaza on Crawford Street and will feature authentic Mexican cuisine, a live Mariachi band, and activities for all ages.

Bayou Bash: Join the Astros for a Cajun celebration with our 7th Annual Bayou Bash presented by Budweiser on Saturday, May 17th. The Astros host the White Sox at 3:10pm and the Bayou Bash event will be open to all fans with a game ticket from 12:00-3:30pm on the Plaza on Crawford Street. The event features live music on the Budweiser Stage, tons of Crawfish, cold beer and a Bayou Bash giveaway.

Summer Youth Days: The ballpark doesn't get much louder than when over 5,000 kids attend a game from summer camps all over Houston! Summer Youth Days will take place on June 26, July 30 and August 13.

75th Anniversary of Little League Baseball:  Join us on June 29th for Youth Baseball and Softball Day. The Houston Astros welcome teams and leagues from throughout Texas to celebrate 75 years of Little League Baseball. Find out how to participate in the parade or special pre-game ceremony.

Scout Days: The Astros are proud to support Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America with our annual Scout Days. Everyone who purchases a ticket to one of our Scout Days will receive a ticket to the game and a limited-edition Astros themed patch. A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated back to the scouts in the Greater Houston Area. Additionally, all uniformed scouts and scout leaders in attendance are invited to participate in a pre-game ceremony on the field. So bring out the whole troop on June 29 and September 21 for what is sure to be a special day for Scouts of all ages!

Fiestas Patrias: Come out to Minute Maid Park to celebrate Fiestas Patrias with a pregame street fest presented by United, on Saturday, September 20th before the Astros host the Seattle Mariners at 6:10pm. The Fiestas Patrias celebration kicks off with a street fest from 3:00-6:30 on the Plaza on Crawford Street which pays homage to Mexico's culture and traditions, complete with live music, special thanks to Budweiser.
