Arroyo set for first bullpen session with D-backs

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Bronson Arroyo made a brief appearance in the D-backs clubhouse Tuesday morning, though the right-hander was still not officially a member of the club.

Arroyo was set to take a physical Tuesday before the two-year, $23.5 million deal became official. All was completed by Tuesday morning, when the D-backs announced the signing, which includes a club option for 2016.

The D-backs did set up a locker for him in the clubhouse with his No. 61 on the nameplate.

Arroyo is expected to be in uniform Wednesday and throw a bullpen session.
