Billy Beane, Bob Melvin return for second seasons; 'The Reddick Report' debuts April 2
OAKLAND, Calif. - The Oakland Athletics and 95.7 FM The GAME will broadcast three weekly A's shows on the team's flagship radio station throughout the 2013 season, it was announced today.
A's General Manager Billy Beane and Manager Bob Melvin will return for their second seasons on the air. "The Reddick Report," hosted by A's Gold Glove winner Josh Reddick, is set to debut Tuesday, April 2.
Beane, named The Sporting News Executive of the Year for the second time in his career last November, will host "The Billy Beane Report" on Thursdays at 4 p.m., as part of "Bucher & Towny" with Ric Bucher and Chris Townsend, starting April 4. Melvin can be heard Mondays at 8:30 a.m., beginning April 1, as the 2012 American League Manager of the Year joins "The Rise Guys" with Whitey Gleason, Mark Kreidler and Dan Dibley.
Reddick will join John Lund and Greg Papa on "The Wheelhouse" Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m.
