ASG Color Run 5K course route announced

CINCINNATI -- Are you ready to run like an All-Star? Major League Baseball, the Cincinnati Reds and the Color Run have announced the course route for the Color Run MLB All-Star 5K, which will be held on July 11.

• Cast your Esurance All-Star ballot for #ASGWorthy players

The run, one of many Cincinnati-themed events for All-Star week, will take participants through downtown starting at Sawyer Point Park. The runners will pass Great American Ball Park, cross into Kentucky on the Taylor Southgate Bridge, and return to Cincinnati proper via the Purple People Bridge.

The race will end where it began, in Sawyer Point Park, and there will be a Finish Festival complete with music, contests and giveaways. The race is untimed, and participants will be doused with a different color powder at each zone. All participants will receive a T-shirt, finisher's medal, tattoos and headband.

Event information and registration is available here.
