Baseball fans win with Comcast and the Houston Astros

"The Ultimate Astros Experience with XFINITY Sweepstakes" gives fans once in a lifetime MLB experience

HOUSTON, TX - Comcast and the Houston Astros today announced "The Ultimate Astros Experience with XFINITY" for Houston-area baseball fans. The sweepstakes will give two Houston-area fans a chance to win two round-trip tickets to New York to watch the Houston Astros take on the New York Yankees on August 21, 2014. The two lucky fans will also enjoy hotel and transportation accommodations.

"We are excited to offer XFINITY and Astros fans a chance to fly to New York and catch a game," said Ralph Martinez, Senior Vice President for Comcast's Houston Region. "Our community and sports partnerships offer our customers unique opportunities, such as this, to get an up-close look at some of the best players in MLB."

Weekly winners will also be selected at random throughout the sweepstakes and rewarded with some amazing prizes. They include four dugout seats to watch the Astros take on the 2013 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox on July 12, the opportunity to throw out the first pitch before the August 13 contest between the Minnesota Twins and the Astros, 10 suite tickets to the Detroit vs. Astros game on June 28, and a VIP behind-the-scenes tour of Minute Maid Park at the Oakland vs. Astros game on July 28. 

To be eligible to win the XFINITY Sweepstakes package, fans must "Like" the Comcast Houston Region Facebook page, and complete the entry form. The contest began on May 1, and a winner will be chosen at random the week of June 2.
